One of my top two favorite pizza places in Kansas City.
The build your own calzone is my favorite item to order at Minsky’s.
The prices are reasonable.
The restaurant is in a nice area with plenty of dining area room.

I have been coming to this Minskys since is opened out here and went to 51st street before that. Unfortunately it has changed drastically in the last year or two. Not sure why but a couple of times staff members were down right rude. This is very uncharacteristic for this restaurant. Tonight, as always, I requested they pull pizza out a second or two early so cheese isn’t burned on top but , as you can see by picture, it wasn’t. I also had a hair on the bottom of the pizza...

stopped in for lunch. food was excellent.
waitress was very diligent in checking for allergies.
kitchen forgot the pepperoni on the pepperoni pizza. at first, waitress said it was under the cheese. it wasn't. she offered to replace but we said it was ok and she changed the bill to a cheese pizza. Overall, we were happy with her cheerful attentive service and the quality of the pizzas.
