LOVE MOTHER CLUCKER!!! I’m a big fan of hot but just know that if you’re a fan of flavorful chicken they have something for everyone heat wise here (including no heat at all). I’ve been before and have always ordered things middle of the road heat wise and been happy because I prefer to have some flavor along with the heat. Tonight I decided to see what’s up and got the hottest of the hot “What the Cluck” level. HOLY CLUCK, they aren’t messing around! Mouth is on fire and I’m sweating profusely! Nothing I didn’t ask for and good stuff if that’s your jam…but this will be one and done for me at the crazy WTC level. Regardless will be back for the amazing chicken at lesser heat levels. Both food and staff have always been awesome and 100% better than Dave’s Hot Chicken so come give it a shot. :)

So this is by far hands down my favorite location! I have been to the location in downtown Kansas city before which is good but sometimes they don't always season it a lot. The leawood location seasoned everything perfectly and the staff was so incredibly nice! They came to our table and talked to us, made sure everything was good! Will be going to this location more often, even though its a bit of a drive!

Mother Clucker is so freaking good. The quality of the chicken is unmatched, mixing a high heat level with pickles on the side.. it doesn’t get any better. Love this place!

The food was decent. Outdoor tables were dirty. While we cleaned off our outdoor table ourselves, to include a wet napkin wipe down, the employees stood behind the counter and shook their heads at each other, as if we were the problem.

The lady at the counter got my order wrong and she refused to take change of mine as I paid her in cash. The front desk was not the best and more than likely won't be back unless there is a different person working the counter. I guess my money wasn't good enough for her despite she got the order wrong anyway and I never received my drink.
