Server Kat Z seems overly occupied with the table next to us. Forgot to bring a glass of what she called “house wine” which would have been $17. That is not what I would consider house wine. I'm not the service we're used to at North.
This is our favorite restaurant. The young man as host was impatient with my wife when she asked to move tables away from the front door; he said "Just show me which table you want” with an attitude. Salmon requested as cooked Medium Rare. It came rare and when we requested it to be cooked from rare to medium rare. The server was unapologetic and insisted we wanted it Medium; like it was our fault? Server was always in a hurry to get away from our table, it did not seem matter if we were satisfied. The manager did bring the Medium salmon and listened to our input on the host. As far as associates; the vibe is millennial with millennial values serving mature clients.
Service was very slow. Got appetizers before drinks. Didn't get asked for more drinks until had to ask.
Lunch at North is a favorite! Make sure to get the beet and chicken salad - it's only available during lunch - enjoy!
The table set up made it hard to talk to the whole Group as people at one end could not hear people at the inter end. The sun was quite bright in the eyes of one side of the table.
Took the missus here for a birthday dinner. It's a traditional thing. We both always love North. Food is generally hot, fresh, and high quality. Tonight's review is for the service. A+++ 6 star review for Tina. We aren't generally big review people but her service certainly deserves a little shout. Wife and I both commented that it was the best service we'd had in quite some time. Thanks, Tina. You made our family quite comfortable and your extra effort was noted and so so much appreciated. They were out of beets for the salad. Out of straws. Been her 4 times in the last month and they were out of chicken, red pepper flakes and tea all on separate occasions. Continually out of stuff just disappointing.
I have been to North a handful of times and have been impressed each time. The food is fantastic and portions are large. Cocktails are probably in my top 3 favorite restaurant drinks! Service is always great.
The waitress with the leopard print shirt was very rude The other one that served us wasn't very good he forgot a few stuff that we ask including a dish The pasta with the vodka sauce wasn't tasty
First time there for brunch; was very good. Very innovative dishes - and of course excellent wine selections. We'll be back

January 29 I went IN to this establishment to book a table for 2/22 at 5:30 pm. I reserved a specific table, in the corner of the large place, away from speakers due to hearing issues for our party of 4. They knowingly sat another party there with no apologies, agreeing they knew we had reserved that particular table, and they could see that in the computer responding "we were put in a awkward position" as the reason they did it. I say "they" as it was 3 of them with someone coming in from behind. Well, it got more awkward for them. We were sat elsewhere with not even an peace offering. We ended our evening earlier than expected because we could not hear each other. I will never be back. So do NOT go there if you have medical problems! They can't be trusted to handle them.
Samata was our server tonight. She was great!! She was friendly and attentive and never rushed us. We enjoyed our cocktails and appetizers and then ordered our entrees. Everything was prepared well, and we enjoyed our evening.
Homemade pasta and sauce was delicious, the buratta appetizer is incredible as well.
