We recently hosted a rehearsal dinner and welcome reception at Rye Leawood and we had an incredible experience. From early on in the planning process to the event itself, the experience was expectational. They went above and beyond. India, the Event Manager, was so helpful with the planning of the room design, food menu, and beverage menu. Everything I requested she delivered on - the perfect layout of the room to accommodate the rehearsal dinner followed by the welcome reception to the entire menu being gluten and dairy free. She answered every email in a timely manner and met with me multiple times to over questions I had. She was so great to work with. The food was delicious! Every dish from appetizers to desserts was beautifully presented and so flavorful - I didn't know GF/DF could be so delicious. We have received so many compliments about the menu. The service was outstanding. The staff was so professional. They know how to work an event - incredibly efficient and attentive. Our guests were well taken care of. The entire event ran so smoothly. If you are looking for a venue for your special event, I highly recommend Rye Leawood - amazing food, outstanding service and an incredible experience. Our event was unforgettable. Thank you, Rye Leawood!

Second visit to this location but the same enjoyable meal. Monday nights are steak night. Your choice of a hanger, ribeye, filet or a pork chop plus a salad, a side, and a slice of pie. All of this for $50. Simply scrumptious. We ordered the ribeye and the hanger and it was amazing.
Great ambiance. Loved the patio sitting
Great food and service but fairly pricey. Definitely great for a special occasion
Cute brunch spot! Options were a little limited though.
Definitely a solid choice for a little more upscale outing, though not pretentious. The pies and desserts were absolutely five stars, but I was not as impressed with the fried chicken and mac & cheese, as I expected to be.
Excellent lunch location. Great cocktails!

Warm decor and ambience, convivial, round table is great for a group of 6, and we could hear each other! As for the food, hit or miss. My rainbow trout was melted butter (delicious) and his hands hanger steak was perfect. The rest looked ok to m'eh. Desserts big and skippable. Great cocktails and decent wines, so altogether you can have a great night.

Went in for a Sunday fall brunch with a group of 6. Was seated quickly in the back in a cute nook area.
The server was a little slow on taking orders but the food came out relatively quickly.
I ordered the smoked salmon bagel, which did not say that it was a deconstructed version of this. I actually double checked the menu when it came out to make sure I didn’t miss this. I then spent the next 10 minutes creating my bagel. If I wanted to make my own food, I would have done that at home. The cocktails were good and the food for the remainder of the table was good. The server was helpful but I was disappointed with a deconstructed meal. For one cocktail and the bagel it was $30 which was good value for a brunch spot. Perhaps if I’d ordered something different I would have been more pleased with the experience, as I said the other food on the table was quite good (and not deconstructed).

For a place with such a great reputation, we were appalled when we tried to beat crowds and arrived shortly after 11 AM opening time on a weekday. First, no hostess. Second, the cashier who was busy reading something at the register stopped to seat our party of 3 outside the entrance to the restrooms when there were plenty of other tables available. The meal was expensive: $90+ tip for 3 people for breakfast. Service was excellent. Two of us had fried squares of hash browns that resisted pounding with utensils to break apart and could not be eaten. They were replaced with freshly-fried hash brown squares, which were good. Deserts were run-of-the-mill but ridiculously priced: $10.50 for Lemon Meringue pie and another $10.50 for a slice of Banana Cream pie. Good but far from spectacular. My omelette was reasonably good, but when I fix them at home, they don't have a scoop of meat clumped in the center. The floor of the men's bathroom had peeled ?laquered? surfaces that look wet (but are not). They just look trashy, like they are not maintained. The restaurant was nearly deserted when we arrived and had not gained many more customers at 12:30 during the lunch hour. We won't be back.

took 50 minutes to get the food and when we FINALLY got our food it was too salty, lukewarm, and just mediocre. I would rather go to Waffle House and for 150 bucks? Scan honestly. No point in going

Most excellent in all regards. Cocktails are unique and top notch. Servers are knowledgeable and personable. Food is off the chart! Blackened Duroc chop on polenta was amazing. Shrimp and grits are unreal. The brick chicken with slow growth hen cooked to perfection. Fried chicken has no par anywhere. (We have had all these over the course of several visits, menu is seasonal, so no telling what will be offering, but all so good)

We went for lunch for my sister-in-law’s birthday. I had the fried chicken. It was crispy and delicious. The deviled eggs were also great. Everyone liked their food.
