I found the tablet ordering system frustrating to use. You have to submit your phone number to order, and if you input the number incorrectly there's no way to fix it without cancelling your order and starting completely over. Do not clear your basket, you must cancel the entire order and start over. After going through this process multiple times I wondered why I would pay $30 for 2 hamburgers, 2 small drinks, and 1 side of onion rings when I had yet to interact with an employee. I decided it wasn't worth it and walked out.
Came for some fries and a shake. I had zero employee interaction. Even though it was not too busy, the dining room was not terribly dirty but it wasn't clean.

The food was pretty good I felt like the fries were a tad cold but overall good experience!

Horrible experience. The burger was overcooked and inedible, and they forgot the ranch dressing for my onion rings. I went to the counter to ask for it, but there were 5–6 employees standing in the back of the kitchen and completely ignoring the front. I had to stand there for about three minutes before anyone even acknowledged me.

Waited 15 minutes for cold fries and little to no veggies on my sandwich. Spent almost $70 on 3 meals. Don’t waste your money! The grilled cheese is a joke didn’t even fill my 6 year olds stomach!

Disappointing experience.
We visited Shake Shack on a Saturday around 6:45 pm. It was pretty busy, which we expected, but the overall experience just didn’t live up to the hype.
Everything felt very hands-off. Self-ordering, self-seating, and it honestly seemed like self-cleaning, too. We didn’t get a table until right before our food came out, and most tables needed to be wiped down by customers if you wanted a clean spot.
Ordering was another frustration. There was no option to customize sauces on the self-order screen, even though they clearly had the sauces available. As a picky eater, that was disappointing and limiting.
The food itself didn’t help. The burgers were much smaller than they look in photos, and my onion rings weren’t very hot. Overall, the food was just okay at best, especially for the price.
None of us were impressed, and unfortunately this isn’t somewhere we’d return to.
