Sushi was good, but overpriced and small portions for what it was.
This place had a nice atmosphere, and the waiter was thoughtful in giving space without any sense of rush, even though I arrived one hour before closing. There were three elevated private rooms, which gave the place a unique look. There were also two large-screen TVs, one of which was showing sports. The kitchen seemed to be open to the seating area, and it was quite loud.
One of the ordered dishes was nabeyaki udon, which was presented nicely, with the waiter thoughtfully placing the hot pot to ensure I wouldn't accidentally hurt myself. Their paper napkins added to the presentation, as they had the store's name printed at the base, making it look professional and put together. Cooked spinach, I believe, covered the surface of the broth and had an interesting texture that is not usually found in traditional udon bowls. The shrimp tempura was quite soggy from the start and seemed to rapidly absorb the broth, making it droop significantly by the time it arrived at the table. The broth had a sweet tint to its flavor, which is not typical in udon broths, but it was less pronounced than what you find at many Asian restaurants that cater to American tastes.
Unfortunately, the food left me feeling slightly indigested after the meal, and my stomach felt tight for the rest of the evening. This may have been partly due to the overuse of MSG instead of true dashi broth in the nabeyaki udon. Additionally, the meal felt a bit pricey for the type of food served (for example, nabeyaki udon was around $17 when it should have been $10-13). Dashi broth is the foundation of Japanese cuisine; that is one of the reasons why, despite the good presentation, I cannot consider the quality served here to be authentic Japanese food.

Restaurantji Recommends
We went to Sushi House after someone recommending it to us. It was some what busy but no wait for a table. The staff were friendly and moving fast. After we ordered a soup and salad arrived but neither of us ordered those. They come with each meal. The food arrived in a timely manner and it looked great. That is where anything good about our experience was gone. The sushi rolls were decent and my teriyaki chicken was very bland and somewhat burnt from the grill. My wife had sashimi and didn't care for it. One other thing, there was a gentleman, either a manager or owner, walking around with his phone on speaker. It was at least 10-13 minutes and very annoying as he walking around the dining area. We both decided we wouldn't be back.

Stopped here after a workout around 8:50pm, was told they were closed despite website and door saying open until 9:30pm. Several tables in the middle of their meal. I’m sure the food is fine but they may lack in service. Total bummer, was looking for some healthy fish. Will go to another sushi spot next time

Best nigiri i have ever had!!! The wagyu was a special and was cooked to perfection and the taste was out of this world. Fatty salmon and tuna melted in my mouth and the flavor was incredible!! Everyone working there is so nice and the atmosphere was great. I had the tropical role and added cream cheese and the flavor profile HIT THE SPOT. If you are around town center and have a sushi craving you need to come here.
