Coffee is delicious,both regular and decaf. I had a veggie omelet made to order and my husband had huevos rancheros. We highly recommend The Breakfast Spot!

We didn't even make it to ordering. It's very impersonal. We are millennials who don't mind using digital menus, but this one is done so horrible. We didn't know what we were looking at so we had one phone to order, and another to google pictures of what was actually in the dish. We decided when we go to sit down and eat, we don't want to get frustrated over a menu, and we left. We didn't speak to a single person in the 15 minutes we were struggling. If I'm going to a restaurant, I'd like some interaction and service, because I sure know they would have had that tip button ready. Cold, unwelcoming, unnecessary and unclear digital menus.....no thanks.

One of the best small businesses to eat Breakfast in the Kansas City metro area. I enjoyed their French toast with bacon, eggs and hash browns. The restaurant had plenty of seating for families to dine in at. The menu had a large variety of breakfast items and the prices were reasonable.

The food was great, and the serving size was plentiful, but the price was a bit steep, especially when considering the lack of service. It seems they recently changed to a self-seating, self-ordering style of service, which is to say there's very little interaction from the staff. You can either order from the front counter, like at a fast food restaurant, or you can order via QR code. Unless you specifically ask, there is no server waiting on tables or taking orders. The food was great, but if I wanted this level of service, I would have gone to a fast food restaurant instead.

A very quaint little spot. Clean inside, not very busy. Staff was nice but slow. Had our food within 15 minutes. It also took the server 15 minutes to hand us our check after we were done food though.

It’s rare to walk into a place and automatically be welcomed in anymore so that was refreshing. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. The wait on the food wasn’t long at all and the food was amazing. They even have dog bowls for your furry friends! We’ve been looking for a breakfast spot for a while and I believe we found it.
Kid-friendliness: They have a coloring page and crayons ready for your kids. The bathroom sink was a perfect height for adults and children to wash their hands so my three old felt confident in washing her own hands.

I asked for hot tea. They brought me coffee. I took one drink and just about spit it out. I detest coffee. Then they brought me the tea bag selection. Wow. Mint. Camomile. Green. And they called this a breakfast spot? I needed caffeine so Pepsi had to do. They meal was really good. A little too spicy but very flavorful. I'm just sensitive. PLEASE GET MORE TEA.
Food is never consistent. I WANT to love this place. It's always missing ingredients or never cooked the way it's ordered.

The place has nice comfortable booths and outdoor seating. The menu is great. Don't come here if you are in a hurry. It took over an hour for us to get our food and then it was not hot, just lukewarm. The portions are generous and the food is very good, it would just be better if it were hot.
Dietary restrictions: They include the option of Gluten Free bread and it looks like they might have GF pancakes and waffles. They tell me the fryer used for potatoes is a dedicated fryer that is not used for breaded items so I felt comfortable ordering the breakfast potatoes. I'll know by morning if that is the case.
