Disappointing Decline at Our Once-Favorite Spot This restaurant used to be our absolute favorite in Liberal—we truly loved it and recommended it to everyone. The food was always generous, high-quality, and worth every penny. Unfortunately, our most recent visit was a huge letdown. Prices have skyrocketed compared to before, yet the portions and quality have plummeted. My Relleno de Langosta, a dish we’ve enjoyed many times, contained just one scant tablespoon of octopus, a handful of tiny scallops, and mostly small salad-sized shrimp scattered on the plate. The main seafood elements were practically nonexistent. After experiencing this sharp drop in value and standards, we’ve sadly decided to take our business elsewhere. It’s heartbreaking to write this review because we cherished this place so much. We hope the owners can turn things around and restore the excellence that made it special.

I'll start with the good things. The place was very clean, after that its all bad. The chips were very old, the hot sauce was tasteless, the service was slow. Which was surprising because the place was almost completely empty. The waitress said they were famous (her words) for their molcajete.... After ordering, I now know thats hilarious! The thing was full of fake crab meat, had shrimp the quality of what you'd get from a dollar store, two or three fish filets that were slightly larger than the spoon they give you to eat this laughable dish and one crab leg as garnish. I say garnish because it wasn't close to being large enough to get a bit of meat from..... My only question is, how could the management or owner say their dish is famous? Especially knowing what they use as ingredients... Save your time and skip this place, unless you're looking for a good laugh, but remember to eat first before coming here 🤣. For an outstanding molcajete go to El Ranchito in Guymon Oklahoma, They use quality ingredients. Nothing like what you'd experience at this subpar restaurant...

We luv this place the food never disappoint the only reason why I didn't gave them 5 stars is because am a mom n they don't have enough highchairs they do have some but most of them need to b replaced they are in pretty bad shape to the point that my hubby n I couldn't eat comfortably because we was just worried that our lil one could have an accident ??♀️??♀️??♀️?♂️?♂️?♂️
First visit and last.First for Liberal, prices were horrible, overpriced.Let's talk service first, Service was from the start below standard. You can't understand half of them, and they don't even try to work with you. Our table was serviced once during the entire meal.Food, for the price, yeah, I would expect a least a 3 star restaurant restaurant but that is not even close. Food was below standard.Price, well what we paid for, I would have rathered gone to a nice steak house and probably could have gotten out cheaper.I do not recommend this place and we will not go back......

i do not recommend coming here the first time i came it was good i come from the south and barley know any spanish so we we went the first time the lady was very nice the second time we went we asked for dip and they lady acted like it hurt her to get it i asked for tea my grandma asked for a sprite she brought her a tea we asked for a sprite and she brought it so when it was time to order we asked for a ($45.00 dollar bag of seafood for 2 people ) so then when she came out it was a BIG platter so we said we didnt order this so we called a lady over and said we didint order this and i explaind it to her so she called the lady who took the order and the lady said NO u didnt i told u $146.00 i said no u didnt she said ya i did and proceded to show me the right meal and she walked to the pay thin and my grandma wrote (WE WILL NEVER WILL BE BACK).
The covered oysters on the half shell were the best I've ever had!!!! It was awsome-sauce!!!!

We came in today just to be completely ignored by wait staff. We got up and left. Other people walked in 20 min later and they were waited on immediately. Disappointed we usually love this place.

First the food was incredibly mid for the price. Some bacon wrapped shrimp with some cheap frozen vegetables and rice for 18 bucks. Second the service was complete garbage. Only took our orders and dropped off the food. Never asked if we wanted refills and took forever to drop off and take the check. Acted very rude and like he didn't want to be there. Avoid this place like the plague. We won't be back.
