I visited Sushi Ninja in Liberal, Kansas, and was thoroughly disappointed. The Sashimi Deluxe and hot tea, priced at $34, were incredibly underwhelming. The portion was minuscule, with fish slices so thin they were nearly translucent. I left still hungry and had to stop at Burger King afterward.

Moreover, the service was equally disappointing. The waitress was rude, condescending, and unwelcoming, a pattern noted in previous reviews as well. The dismissive attitude from the staff made the experience even worse. It is unknown to how this place can have a review score greater than 1/5! Ah...maybe it is the probable fake high reviews submitted prior.

I will not be returning and cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for quality sushi and good service.

Let me just say… this place owes me an apology. The hibachi tasted like it had been sitting out waiting for Jesus to return, and the steak? I’ve had shoe leather with more seasoning and tenderness.

And the waitress? Lord. She acted like smiling would’ve taken years off her life. Had the nerve to roll her eyes like we ruined her day just by existing. If attitude was on the menu, she served it extra large.

Overall, the whole experience was a hot mess on a cold plate. Wouldn’t go back even if the meal was free—and I’m more disappointed enough to tell everyone else not to waste their time either. That bad

I enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, the choice of anime and Oriental artwork is cool to look at while you wait, I'm assuming based on the size of restaurant a 15-20 person group, is pushing the limit for a positive dine-in experience, the multiple times I've eaten here, my partner and I havent dealt with any bad fishy smells or bad fish, hopefully your experience is as enjoyable as mine have been.

I got the chicken and steak with steamed rice. The food itself was really good but the service was bad. The staff was not friendly and never came to ask how the food was or check on things.

The food (taste) when it comes to the ninja rolls, it's good. The Hibachi is usually a miss. Skip the steak Hibachi, no flavor. The food portions have gotten smaller. The service is usually short and rude.

First the lady that works here or maybe owns it. Is rude dry. Second 16.99 for this!! The sushi tasted like store-bought sushi at best. Steak was tough with no flavor. The spring roll and the potsticker had no sauce. I even asked for some. Wasabi was not brought with the bento box. First and last visit for me. I have had photos of a Japanese steakhouse that I go to and look at what all it entails for 14.99 don’t get me wrong. I understand it’s a small town, but this is ridiculous.

Surprisingly good sushi for a small town; fish was fresh and everything tasted fantastic. Service was quick, and our food came out in good time. The waitress was a bit short when we asked a couple of questions, but she still made sure we had what we needed. Overall, a solid spot for sushi in the area.

The food is great, the only constructive criticism is the lady that always take us in. She is very pushy and just overall not the nicest. And hurries you. Food is overpriced but so is evrything.
