I got the chicken and steak with steamed rice. The food itself was really good but the service was bad. The staff was not friendly and never came to ask how the food was or check on things.

The food (taste) when it comes to the ninja rolls, it's good. The Hibachi is usually a miss. Skip the steak Hibachi, no flavor. The food portions have gotten smaller. The service is usually short and rude.

First the lady that works here or maybe owns it. Is rude dry. Second 16.99 for this!! The sushi tasted like store-bought sushi at best. Steak was tough with no flavor. The spring roll and the potsticker had no sauce. I even asked for some. Wasabi was not brought with the bento box. First and last visit for me. I have had photos of a Japanese steakhouse that I go to and look at what all it entails for 14.99 don’t get me wrong. I understand it’s a small town, but this is ridiculous.

Surprisingly good sushi for a small town; fish was fresh and everything tasted fantastic. Service was quick, and our food came out in good time. The waitress was a bit short when we asked a couple of questions, but she still made sure we had what we needed. Overall, a solid spot for sushi in the area.

The food is great, the only constructive criticism is the lady that always take us in. She is very pushy and just overall not the nicest. And hurries you. Food is overpriced but so is evrything.

The last time I came here was 10 years ago and this place was absolutely amazing however when we came recently 1/2/25 The service was horrible. The server was rude not tentative or polite. The food was good however there was no atmosphere in the restaurant. There was no music. All you could hear was other tables talking. I just think this place needs to be amped up and focus on customer service in order to stay in business
Honestly, i love this place. me and my partner come often and the food never disappoints. we’ve been to many other ninja or osaka/osaki places and we’ve always said that ninja in liberal would’ve been better. considering it’s just the lady and the small amount of other workers i am pleased everytime i come in here. for me and him together it usually costs around 40-60 bucks each time and we try to tip the best we can. even when it’s super busy or packed everything comes out in a timely manner and good. I know some people might say something about the customer service or her attitude or whatever but i don’t mind. i’ve worked in good service and it can be frustrating. her composure is decent enough and we’ve NEVER had a problem with them. she’s outstanding working all these tables by herself. I think they deserve all the hype

We were sat down at this restaurant at 2:50. We were the only patrons in the establishment. The only host/wait staff approached us at 3:01. I noticed lunch prices ended at 3. The waitress was direct/rude and very inattentive. More customers trickle in and we decided to order sushi only. Probably ok for a small town but their sushi was below mediocre, with strong use of Mayo, bread crumbs and small amount of fish. I will not be visiting this establishment again.

WHAT happened to this place??? I used to eat here on the daily 9-10 years ago. Was super stoked it was still there when visiting. The rolls were super skinny with barely any fish. It cost us $189 for 2 adults, a teenager and a baby. We were ALL still hungry after leaving. The server was also very standoffish, I wouldn't say rude but it was VERY noticeable. This place has the potential to be better though and I really really hope the owners work on it because at one point in time it was THE best Sushi spot in all of Western Kansas. Come on owners step it up! Bring back the drum shows, make some noise, get people in that door.
