Turns out that they turn off their grill at 1 PM. I showed up at two, and so I had to have a crispy chicken wrap. Let’s just say that I am not a wrap person. Nonetheless, it was not bad, and I actually enjoyed it. Next time I am in this area, I will definitely stop by earlier in the day to try a burger. I think it would be good.

Nicest little stand. We were just passing through and decided to stop. Got grilled chicken sandwich and pickle fries, great quality for the price, and a cookie and unlimited iced tea included. Clean facilities, nice outdoor eating space. A real road trip gem!

The burgers and fries are soooooo good here! And the portions are HUGE! Such a hidden gem (ok, the locals know...🤣)... and the staff is so kind too! It's a "must go" place in my opinion!

We worked all day, had not eaten and decided to have an early supper. We showed up at 3:45 pm and they told us the grill was shut off from 2:00 to 5:00 pm, no exceptions. No sale must be alright for a business with no customers. Their loss.

Great local spot off the highway! Today’s special was the mushroom and Swiss burger — fresh beef and yum yum. Also had the fried chicken sandwich which not as good as burger but still decent. The gem was the homemade pickle and onion diced salad and a side of cold pasta salad. Good quality onion rings. To top it off you get a soft serve cup of ice cream with your meal. I got the twist which rocked!!Have to support these local Americana stops and give the chain restaurants a break. Great customer service. My only plea is getting more local or house made fare on menu like cold salads or making own sauces like ranch or BBQ. Next time going through Kansas we’ll be back!Apologies for my poor photo — was halfway through chowing. :)
