My friend and I came in for lunch and it was very good. Angel was our server and he took good care of us. VERY affordable as well, one of the cheapest good food spots around. Will be coming back

I ordered 12 Thursday Tacos tonight for take out. I have ordered take out quite a few times and food was very good. My family had no complaints. But these tacos I ordered tonight were the worst tasting tacos I ever have had. Other 2 family members said the same thing. We have 9 tacos left that I paid for that goes in the trash. Very disappointed. Did not have a good dinner. There was no seasoning in the meat at all. It was shredded beef with cheese lettuce few tomatoes. We tried to doctor our tacos up but nothing helped. I don't know if they got a new cook or forgot to season the meat, but it was just plain meat with the veggies. I won't be getting Thursday Tacos anymore. It was such a waste of money and no taste!

El Potro's Mexican food is very good! The family that owns it is super nice. The margaritas are excellent and you must try the El tasty burrito! It's very delicious! Service is excellent and they decorate with the horses. Do yourself in favor and stop by, please.

I tried Burrito California yesterday. It was fantastic! Stuffed full of mushrooms, onions, peppers, corn, zucchini and broccoli. I opted to add chicken. So yummy. A must try for veggie lovers. Another favorite is Enchiladas de Jalapeno Cream Cheese, also a must try. Jose was our waiter, he is attentive and friendly. Checking in to make certain we have everything we need. Our experience, 20 out of 10! Thanks El Potro!
So this was my first visit to the Louisburg, KS location. I've been to the Paola, KS location more times than I can count. Yes, 5 stars across the board ! Great job, El Potro !
Not sure what kind of "Authentic Mexican Restaurant" has silly promotions like "Taco Monday" and "Taco Thursday" everyone in their right mind knows that it's "Taco Tuesday" I even have a sticker that says "treat every Tuesday like it's Taco Tuesday" so frankly I'm not sure who they are fooling here. They also water down their margaritas, I didn't even get buzzed off mine. Their enchiladas also gave me food poisoning so it seems like this business is very poorly run and needs to relearn how to operate as a restaurant. The manager Gabby didn't even seem sympathetic to my situation and didn't even try to help. Frankly, I've gotten better Mexican food at Taco Bell. Don't waste your evening going to this place and instead go to a real restaurant.
