K-18 Cafe is a destination stop of its own! We had the most delicious home cooked breakfast- the hash browns were incredible! Dave made us a cute turtle pancake which made our day. Dave and Kiera chatted with us for a while about the town- very friendly folk! Thank you so much for a fantastic meal and experience! :)

Just out for a light motorcycle ride (91 miles one way) and I became hungry, so I ask the lady at Brant where to get a good meal and she directed me here! The food, service and the friendliness of the locals was awesome! My server even talked me into dessert, which is saying something! I normally never get dessert!

Driving across Kansas I found this gem of a restaurant. A local, all American spot to get some amazing food at excellent prices.

This family-owned cafe has been around since the 1950s and continues to operate under the care of the same family.

I know this because the owner, a fun and friendly guy, was kind enough to include me into the conversation with the staff.
While I enjoyed a large plate of AMAZING fried chicken (no seriously, this was among the best fried chicken I’ve ever had) we shared laughs with the staff.
The staff are all sweet and welcoming young ladies.
K-18 is a must, not just while in the area, but as a destination on its own. The coconut cream pie is made from scratch in the restaurant and it is ridiculously delicious and BIG.

I’ll be back for Christmas for a special homemade eggnog with organic, locally sourced milk.

If you like a dirty cafe that is under staffed with an over priced hamburger basket… this is the place for you! It took 15 minutes before receiving a menu and then another hour just to get an over priced hamburger. The thick glass girl that was bussing tables obviously had no clue and the owner “Dave” stopped in with his recycled Walmart meat containers to have washed… if I could give this experience a zero… I would! Don’t waste your time or money! Bonus… they have tons of raisins with wings that are attracted to this location…. Bring a fly swatter!

We normally order chicken fry steaks. They were so thin and fried so hard you could hardly cut them with a steak knife.the breading was fried so hard it was almost burnt.sure ruined us . The French fries and gravy was good. But it's going to be awhile for us to return.

Everything you could possibly want from a roadside diner. I had a cheeseburger and onion rings. Both were the best I’ve had in a very long time. One waitress running the floor and she was on point. Everyone got their meals on time and no one’s drink ran dry.

Best roast beef diner I’ve had and the home made blueberry pie is to die for. Even the mashed potatoes were absolutely spot on.
