1st time being since they remodeled, had a reservation and it took about 10 mins for anyone to acknowledge that I was standing at the host stand, lots of employees kept walking by but not speaking. Red flag..finally got seated..ordered a porterhouse that didn't come with a side because they were out of the others that came with a side. So the steak was 75.00 and a side was 9.00. The steak was very very tough and the potatoes had no flavor..I really thought I was going to choke on this tough steak. There was a guy walking talking to people at the tables...not once did he come to my table and speak to me. Staff seemed like they were confused, unprepared and unorganized! I will never go again...84.00 for a tough steak and flavorless potatoes 🥔 not worth it

You can strike down northern Kansas, cool but you also reward the amazing cuts, sides and booze of this spot. Come and enjoy what they have to offer. Good bites and good nights!

We were warmly greeted immediately upon arrival by the hostess and were able to get a table without hesitation. I was able to ask the Chef for a recommendation which I ended up ordering. I had the duck breast which was tender, juicy, and delicious. My husband had the KC Strip which was well flavored and cooked to perfection. The restaurant was clean and comfortable, the server was informed and professional, the food was fresh and amazing. We would highly recommend Three Fires Steakhouse for a couple's night out.

We visit Three Fires Steakhouse for special occasions. We were celebrating our anniversary and looking forward to fine dining. Arrived at 6pm, ordered cocktails and reviewed the menu. Placed our order by 6:10pm, then waited 45 minutes for our main entrees. My husband's 12 oz NY strip steak, which included shallot for $54, was room temperature when served. There was no shallot on his plate. He mentioned the temperature to the waitstaff. At least the side of mashed potatoes for $9 was warm. Because I didn't like the non-beef choices on the menu, I ordered a Sunflower salad, the jumbo shrimp cocktail and crab cakes which are listed as starters but I asked for them as my main entree. I received my salad within a reasonable amount of time, but waited the 45 minutes for my main entree to be delivered. I always laugh when Kansas menus say "jumbo" in their description of a shrimp cocktail, but the shrimp on this cocktail were indeed jumbo. They were large enough to make any shrimper, from the south Texas coastline, proud. The crabcakes were tasty and served hot. My guess is that my husband's steak sat for a long time before my crabcakes were cooked. We believe the issue of delayed service was due to a very large group being served in the dining room to the east of the Three Fires main dining room. Our waitstaff was also waitstaff for the group in this dining room. Consequently, all of the attention went to this group and only occasionally to our table. We watched as food was carried from the open kitchen into the secondary dining room. We waited for our food to be served and never received an offer to replenish our water glasses. My husband requested coffee, but it was never served. We finished our meals and waited 25+ minutes for anyone to notice. When the waitress brought the bill she remembered the coffee. My husband told her to forget the coffee and asked for boxes for our leftovers. At that time, our waitress remembered that I had said I would be ordering dessert when she first greeted us at our table. She asked me what dessert I wanted. I told her to forget it, we were ready to leave. When she returned with the boxes, she offered warm bread pudding to-go "since it was our anniversary." We said sure, but I am fairly certain that it was her attempt to minimize the lackluster service. She left our bill at the table before bringing the to-go boxes or our "complimentary" bread pudding. There was no itemized coffee or dessert on the bill which obviously had been printed before she remembered the coffee or a dessert. We won't be back ~ at least for quite a long time. The smell of cigarette smoke permeated the dining room. Service was good but unacceptable slow for a great dining experience. They were unprepared for serving the main restaurant along with the large group in the second dining room. For a Friday evening between 6pm and 7:30pm, there were many empty tables. Perhaps now we know why.

Dinner was outstanding. Duckbreast cooked perfectly with cherry sauce on the side, asparagus spears, and scallops followed a sunflower salad filled my palate and satisfied my need for sustenance. Their wine list has always been lacking, but I tried the merlot anyway. (I'll never learn.) Marq always gives excellent service, and this evening was no different. If you go to the casino only to gamble, you're missing out.

The food here is always so good. The service is amazing and they continue to fill your water/drinks/bread as needed or wanted. It's a good idea to have a reservation. They have just redone the inside of the restaurant, and it feels very warm and
welcoming.

The food was fantastic the bone in steak was raised on the reservation land and was phenomenal, I also got the blue cheese crust on it which made it even better. The baked potato was huge and tasty. The price was reasonable for what you got

Here visiting from Dallas where there are lots of excellent steakhouse options. Ordered a locally grown ribeye and it was honestly delicious. Probably comparable to any $75 steak I’ve had at high-end Dallas steakhouses.
