5 Loaves Country Kitchen

They close whenever they feel like it. Tonight we were literally walking in the door when they ran up & changed their sign to closed - an hour early. Just said “we’re closed” & walked away.

food is AMAZING! The onion ring, green beans and the chicken fried steak are delish. Service is very hot and cold. Drove up from out of town a few weeks ago, the young man was prompt,friendly and even recommended his favorites. Went again last night, 3 servers with only 3 tables of people (2 tops) and still waited over 10 minutes to be greeted by a server, which we had to ask for. She appeared only to take our order, deliver food and deliver check. Never offered refills or checked on us at all. Waitresses passed us several times and not one acknowledged a table that wasn't their own. The waitress to which whom we asked who our server was, was quite unfriendly. It wasn't a good experience. I will return because the food is that good but they need some service skills to fill that place up.

food is ok-ish there was service and it's so dark in the eating area this was my second time here don't think I'll go again the people I went with seemed to enjoy it just wasn't the kinda eating experience I appreciate

Our group from out of town had no complaints. We had breakfast items and all of it was good, great portions & great prices.

Great food. Heard friends talk about this place so tried it out. Its now my new place. No complaints. Waitress made me tired just watching her run all over and take care of people. Food was top notch for price range and ya just cant beat the home cooking taste.

My husband and I heard about yall so we decided to do a take out order. Let me tell ya, we live 15 miles from 5 Loaves and when we got the food home it was still hot! We ordered the 14oz ribeye and Catfish dinner. Both were GREAT! Cooked to his liking and that is a biggggg deal with his steak! The catfish was bread evenly and not too much. The catfish was a THICK filet! The green beans taste just like my Grands! Well done on those! The baked potato was tender and came with sides! All I can say is this....If you want a good home cooked meal for reasonable amount of money then 5 Loaves should be your new dinner place! Can't wait to try the breakfast menu.... KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK! Oh and the lady who took my order was truly nice, patient and repeated the order. NO mistakes made. Yall rock!

They really need to update their menu online. We're from out of town and it looks really good. But when we got there we all had the change what we wanted. It wasn't bad food, but we were kinda bummed!
