It was okay. The chicken didn't have any flavor and the burritos kept falling apart. You definitely get what you pay for

We stopped to have dinner as we were traveling through the area. We had four different tacos and elote… all were delicious. Very good value for the price as well.

The carne asada tacos are absolutely amazing. Best flavor I've ever tasted. Extremely generous portions as well. Each taco was completely filled. The sauces taste so good. The chicken burrito was huge. Like filled up the entire styrofoam container. It was also delicious and flavorful. This was my first visit to the food truck. It's going to be a weekly dinner now. Thanks for the great food and service!!
Husband and wife owned. Kindest people there is. Authentic Mexican food. Large portions. Food is mouth watering good! I don't like refried beans at all, but holy cow, their refried beans are delicious! Never had the refried beans that were actually seasoned!!! So good. Highly recommend. Support the small businesses!!

Wow! Food was awesome! We frequently get tacos with a variety of meats and decide the one or two meats that are the best….this place didn’t have A favorite as they were ALL delicious! The corn tortillas were excellent and not too thick! Meats were all juicy and had their own unique flavors! We also really enjoyed the horchata! Staff was helpful and friendly Highly recommend! Also, reasonably priced….great atmosphere as well!
This is my first negative review EVER of any place on trip advisor! I'm only ever done positive reviews but this was the worst restaurant experience I've ever had on a trip. The manager told us that they do not do any type of exchanges or refunds here no matter if your order is inedible. She claimed they gave us what we ordered and refused to speak to us further. What's sad is my husband has eaten here several times before and the restaurant used to have good food.
We had lunch here on Friday and it was phenomenal the raw oysters and portions was amazing if your looking for authentic Mexican I highly recommend

We’re from Arizona and were ecstatic to find an authentic Mexican Taqueria in Wilmington. We went for dinner (twice) and had various tacos with barbacoa, fish and carnitas. All were very, very good, but the barbacoa won hands down.
Stopped in at location #2 (Van Campen, near Walmart Super Center) thoroughly enjoyed my ceviche tacos and side of rice along with Flan for dessert. I also appreciate being able to order and pay up front near the entrance and you have a clear view of the menu options. Service was very good and food tasted fresh. I’ve past this location so many times; glad I finally stopped in!
Where are you? I miss you! Best Mexican food in the area. Truly authentic and great prices. Praying that you come back.

This is a review for the Los Portales Taqueria #2 location. Wow, wow, wow! I haven't had a good traditional Mexican street food in quite a while. I ordered the three taco combination that came with rice and beans. The beans at this place were fantastic! Creamy, not dense nor dry in texture, and definitely fresh-made. I ate all of it! For the tacos, I had one with grilled chicken, one with chorizo, and the last with pork carnitas. The pork was my favorite, so tender! The chicken was slightly dry but with the added lime juice and salsa, I was happy. The chorizo was a little on the oily side but with great flavors. Each was served with two small corn tortillas. The portions are not huge but for me, it was perfect for lunch. Afterwards, I told the manager that I really loved the lunch. He thanked me. If I remember correctly, his name is Alejandro. He asked when I would return and told him soon. I plan to bring my DH with me and have lunch again while sitting at the bar. Sounds like they have great margaritas.
