The food tasted fresh and real. My chicken sandwich tasted like something I would make at home, but better. The taco salad was super tasty with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and tasty ground beef and refried beans. The shell was crisp and flavorful.

This is not 5-star cuisine so if that's what you're looking for, NYC is just a couple thousand miles up the road. But it IS 5-star good ol' down-home diner cooking! The food is comforting, delicious, hot and fresh, and served with a big smile and friendly words, and very reasonable prices!

Parking lot, however, is a different story 🚛 — full of craters and in serious need of repair, so go slow rolling in. Even with the lot, this is the kind of local stop that makes trucking better. Totally worth it 👏
