We tried the Cove for the first time since being here in Kansas we didn’t know they existed.. cooking for myself it is hard to go out and eat. I liked this place the view so great and the atmosphere indoor was very home like and we loved it. Lacy (I hope I spelled your name right) very friendly and attentive of each table. I do have some recommendations but that is only if you would like them. Husband had elk burger and I had cod fish tacos, I LOVED that they were not greasy at all. Thank you for the experience and we will be coming back.

Fantastic views overlooking Milford Lake. Food was nothing special. Fried Shrooms were good as were the house salads. Salmon dinner was OK but rather bland and tasteless. Same as the Cove Burger. While it was cooked nicely to medium, it was tasteless and rather dry as if the cook had pressed on it during cooking. The bottom half of the Brioche bun was soggy and full of grease. I had to ask for a new one it was so bad. Ordered a second beer and five minutes later waiter came back and said keg had exploded and they were tapping a new one. Said it would only be a couple of minutes. 10 minutes later no beer so we cancelled the beer paid the check and left. Perhaps it was this bad because it's the off-season.

Our server was Lissette L. She was amazing! So kind and attentive.
I would suggest a different host. He didn’t speak to us when we walked in. Just looked at us, the walked us to our table and as he walked by dropped off our menus and silverware. Never stopped or spoke to us. Food was amazing as was our server!!!

Nice location and good prices on drinks. The portions are also pretty generous. They can get crowded on the weekends.

THE FRIES!!! These are the best fries around. I love them! Their burgers are amazing and I’ve always enjoyed the fish and chips. We’ve eaten on the patio and inside and both are great. A beautiful hide away next to the lake with a beach next door. The staff is always friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxed. My daughter gets up to dance to the music and everyone laughs and cheers. It’s out of the way from the city and a wonderful place for a family dinner.

First I had to ask for my own silverware for our table of 6. Had to ask numerous times for water. Got wings with BBQ and California Reeper sauce which I was not informed about which was a nightmare and ruined my dinner and whole night. Also my daughter in laws from Canada.
Our mouth was on fire , we could not eat the wings ,and had to take home them home. The Cove should forewarn their customers once they order or ask them if they know how hot California reeper is. We had no idea how hot it was . We told waitress about it and she said well thats what you ordered. I sure did, not funny. Very disappointing night. $150 dinner for 4 adults 2 children we should have at least enjoyed.

Today is our 57th wedding anniversary and we were hoping to have a special lunch at The Cove. Your Facebook page and your webpage both said you were open at 11, but when we got there it was closed up tight. We stopped at the information center on our way out and they said you were only open Friday Saturday Sunday now beginning at 4 PM. Please change your pages so people know this. Hopefully we can try again sometime. Thank you.

Fried pickles delicious. Loaded fries really good. Great service and loved looking out at the lake. The water and soda pop taste very weird. Order a bottle of water instead.
