I’ve heard so many good things about Laurie’s and I am so sad I did not have the same experience 😭 I ordered the blackened chicken sandwich and grilled pineapple and called it in for a carryout order. They said they don’t sell pineapple but could do a bowl of fruit, no biggie. The fruit I received had moldy raspberries in it. The sandwich had no sauce and was supposed to come with a mexi-ranch and the chicken was super dry and almost tough 🫠 very disappointing.

Food was okay. We have only had breakfast here, and the food was no better than Riverside Cafe. The service however was great. Very friendly people, and homey atmosphere. Will have to go back to try the lunch menu.

It needs better A/C especiallynear the Kitchen....but the food is wonderful...oh and the prices on the google app are from the 1980s...I got the "Haystack" it was more than $12... the Burgers are so gooood.!

My town sadly doesn’t really have anywhere to eat breakfast anymore, so my friend and I decided to take a trip up to Mulvane and find something new to try. The food was SO GOOD. I got the biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, and sausage patties. My friend and I shared a plate of the French toast as well. Everything was amazing. Quite possibly the best breakfast I’ve ever had! The atmosphere was really great too. All of the workers were extremely kind. Laurie brought out a little paint set for my kiddo which was very sweet of her. I adored the little leave a book take a book area. Eventually Stella and Toto made an appearance. I got excited when I saw them and Laurie gave me a few treats to give to them. It made my day! 10/10. I’d rate it even higher if I could. I can’t wait to go back and try dinner next!
Kid-friendliness: Laurie was amazing with my kid. He’s autistic and nonverbal and she went above and beyond to make sure he felt included and had a good time too, even though he refuses to eat any real food. 10/10!
