I work in Mulvane and have been trying the local food places during my lunches. I have to say this is the best burger I've ever had, by far. The service was lovely, and it just seemed like such a great place to gather and enjoy each other's company. 10/10. Definitely will be going again!

The Grill, 222 N. Second Ave. in Mulvane - Eight violations on Aug. 20 during a routine inspection. An employee was touching ready-to-eat lettuce with their bare hands, chipped spatula, sliced cheese and tomatoes weren’t kept cold enough, old hot dogs and deli ham, leaky sink in kitchen, bucket of sanitizer was stored next to bread and butter, bottle of sanitizer wasn’t labeled, no hot water at kitchen hand-washing sink. Next inspection: Aug. 30.

Great lil diner with a great staff. The food was awesome too, one of the better burgers around the Wichita. The owner, Terry, is super hospitable and isn’t afraid to get to know his guests. If you’re just passing through or live in Mulvane, definitely check out The Grill!

Service is bad. Can’t get orders right 75% of time. I personally can’t stand this place but my wife likes their burgers. I went to place an order for pick up 30 minutes before they closed and was near by. They refused to take the order and told me they were shutting down. They consistently don’t do anything right and now are refusing orders. No thanks.
nice clean lil burger place. BEST burger i’ve had from a restaurant in over 5 years at least. Owner very friendly the people working there are smiling and friendly AND efficient. that is a rare combination these days. KUDOS to Mulvane and these owners for the best lil place around here. fries are the bomb as well. i’m sorry i forgot to take pics hopefully i remember next time !!!

Great little 'hometown' burger place with good fare and good service. Not fancy, but clean and food is always good when I have been there for lunch (4 times). I don't hesitate to stop when I am on my way through Mulvane near lunchtime. I gather the previous owners gave it a bad rap, but that is gossip and I cannot verify that.

Passing through, and staying at the Casino. Someone recommended this place, so I went. Ordered a bacon double cheeseburger and tots. The burger is probably one of my all time favorites now. Freaking excellent. I arrived at about 630pm and the place seemed to be run by High School kids or at least young adults at this time. They were all great. Highly recommend

I have to say that the food was very good, bit that is not what stood out to my family and I. We got there about 7:10 and the waiter came over and I asked what was good because we had never been before. She said everything it's all fried. The whole time there was a lady sitting behind the front counter on her phone and never looked up from her phone. We ordered our food after getting our drinks, but the girl didn't seem to happy that we were even there. After ordering, the cook came out and was probably 17 years old and said he needed help and didn't know if he could make the order...said he needed help from Jesus just to make the order. The lady never looked up from here phone and we waited and finally got our food just before 8pm. They close at 8 btw, and while we were eating the waitress came back one more time and ask would we be needing anything else. We asked for a refill for my daughter's drink in which she took and never brought back. The whole time she was talking to her friends and sitting with them and eating while we were eating. I have to say that the food was really good, bit I have to say that there was an absolute lack of service and it didn't even look like they were trying. At one point my kids were trying to finish their food and I heard someone from the back say that "All they are doing is just sitting there talking" which we were not and we didn't even want to ask for a container. We just left the rest of the food and the lady that looked like the manager never said anything to us and seemed like her phone was more important than running the restaurant. If just for the food we would probably go back, but because of the service we have just decided we can spend our money somewhere else. We had h card some good reviews on this place and thus is practically my first ever review, but the service was really just that bad. In fact bad service would have been better than 2hat we really got which was just attitude and just a lack of anyone who actually cared. Hopefully this was just a one time thing, but don't plan on going back to find out. When the price of everything has gone up I will spend my money where I get service where people actually care about their customers and actually getting business at all.
I get a craving and pop by the drive thru for fried okra way too often. Nice people.
