Well.... We keep giving them a try. It has been a year since last dining at Woodfire and still not impressed. It did not start off well when I asked for a wine list and was told that the "by the glass" list was pretty much it. Asked for champagne and was told noooo... prosecco was the only choice. We ordered a Chardonay that was recommended, and it was good but served almost warm. We ordered some calamari to start, and it was actually very good. Some of the best I have had recently. I ordered a ribeye, and it came properly cooked at med rare but was just an "OK" cut of meat. Something any steakhouse would sell for $30, not a $55 steak. The steak came with asparagus, and it was flavorless and tough. My wife had the Pesto-broiled Alaskan halibut. The orzo and pesto were delicious, but the fish was very dry. She also had a crab cake on the side, and it was again, "OK" but not much flavor. We capped it off with a cookie and ice cream dessert and it was actually the best part of the meal. We really wanted to like it, but it was not a great meal. Definitely not worth $160 plus wine. Luckily the food was casino comped, and we were just out the cost of the wine, but it will again be a long while till we try again.
We were very disappointed with our visit this time, the only thing I enjoyed in my meal was the calamari! We ordered the sirloin mine rare and my husbands medium well, Brussel sprouts, baked potato, fried lobster and a club salad and not one of these was enjoyable, rare steak very tough no flavor, medium well steak was bloody and had to be sent back causing a 15 minute wait only to have it still bloody, sprouts were cold and very tough, baked potato was hard undercooked, fried lobster was over cooked and was so rubbery I could not chew it and the salad was not to my liking which is not your fault, just not enjoyable! The bread was good but came out way after the meal was served! Our server was the only thing that made our meal enjoyable! Do better woodfire!!!! It was 145.00 and certainly not worth it, Texas Roadhouse is better!!!
All was pretty good but prices high. I wish you could swap sides but they wouldn't let us. Hannah our waitress did a 5 star job! The baked potatoes are huge!
Service is as fantastic! Ambiance was great! My caramel apple martini and chopped salad were very good! Our ribeye and filet minion were not! Very dry and chewy. My mac and cheese was flavorless and dry also. Would have loved to give a great rating but for the prices this was extremely disappointing!!
Service was great but not intruding. Food was delicious- the chicken-fried lobster ROCKS! Absolutely amazing!
This was the perfect setting for my Aunts 80th birthday. She felt like a princess and felt like she mattered. That was a beautiful statement from her.
Super disappointed, this visit, not sure what has happened at the restaurant but it is not up to par especially for the dollar amount they are charging
We got wedge salad, steak, kebab, minions, and fried lobster all for under $100. We were very satisfied and pleased with our food. The minions were a little undercooked so i sent them back and they came back. Perfect I would highly recommend going there. Normally I would expect to pay $100 for two people instead of three.
My filet mignon was cooked to perfection. Medium well. Barely pink in the middle. For my side I ordered the Brussels sprouts. The texture and flavor could not have been better. A little crisp, and barely sweet. Our waitress was polite and professional.
Hannah, our Server, made it a great experience! She was friendly and open to our questions. The food was good and steaks were cooked at the temperature we wanted. The prices were a little high. Thank you to Hannah for making it a fun experience!

We had a very enjoyable experience. Nicole, our waitress, was a delightful lady. She was knowledgeable of the food and drink menu, accommodating of all our requests and so very cheerful and happy. The food was delicious and plentiful while being served in a most timely manner. The surroundings were clean and comfortable. Low noise level allowed us to comfortably converse at our table while being socially aware of the other quests. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
Our food was great, served in a very timely manner and cooked to perfection! The only thing better than the food was the service! Our waitress Key, she was AMAZING and took care of our every need! Our drinks were never empty and she even made us lemonade upon request! Thanks!!!
Woodfire was amazing! You must get the chicken fried lobster, 😋. The house salad was huge and very yummy, nice greens. We also had bacon wrapped medallions with roasted potatoes and dried beets with a mushroom sauce. Our waiter was awesome, didn't hover but was available.
I only come here for the Tomahawk steaks. The best steak on the menu. It's cooked to perfection. Yes, it's a $100 steak, but with each tender and decadent chew, you are getting your moneys worth. As the steak melts in your mouth the flavor expands to every corner of your mouth. Time seems to slow down, you smile and appreciate the experience. You have to try it at least once!
Have gone multiple times, I recommend going right at 5pm, the food comes out faster. The menu has updated, but also now cost a little more for anything. Finally got a good server, it I believe after having both good and bad servers, it really does make a difference. Only complaint that really matter to us was even if they are less than half full, they stacked all guess in the same area, so you can basically hear everyone else stories.
