The service was great. Drinks were also up to expectations. The shrimp cocktail was my favorite dish, fresh and large shrimp with a house made horseradish sauce. I was impressed with the amount of crab used for the crab cake, but the quality of the crab was lacking. When I got my steak it was flavorful but a bit on the tougher side. They offered to bring me something else but I politely declined. The lobster tail was also tough. I had a good time, but unfortunately was not worth the $200 price tag.

Never eat here again. We had a large group. When calling for a reservation, they were not accommodating at all. Steaks weren’t cooked to level requested, bake potato was way under cooked, street corn was in eatable!!! Chocolate cake was at least 2wks old. Our waitress tried if we asked but for a 5 star restaurant we expected way better!!

Decent. Wife's steak undercooked, as was mine. And for an 82$ wagyu it felt more like a 30$ prime, if that. Nothing wagyu about it. Disappointed by the food. Service was great though.

The food was excellent and service was great. It was a Wednesday evening and they were out of a few things, which was odd since it wasn't really a busy time. I thought the prices were a little high and the bar selection for cocktails limited. But overall, a very nice dinner.

I made a reservation, asked for a booth. Didn't get one. My wife and I, always get a wedge salad, waitress said, not available. Steaks weren't as good as the past. We've been going to Woodfire for 10 years, always top of our list for a great steak, my wife and I agreed, my not go back.

I previously gave this a one star but the last few times we have gone, the food and staff have been great. Rylie is an awesome server. Heading back tonight for the Wednesday special.

Horrible food all around. We didn't even eat the main courses due to two of the three steaks (ribeyes) being to tough to eat, the third steak ordered was a filet and it was not only super underdone but tasted horrible as well. With the lack of attention from our waitress while we had salad plates waiting to be picked up for nearly 15 minutes along with an order of calamari that was inedible and looked absolutely disgusting. The manager who came and cleared the table stated that the chef knew it wasn't good and it is getting ready to come off the menu. Our Cobb salads had bitter lettuce, old squishy tomatoes and bacon that I would compare to the bacon that comes from a faat food restaurant and sits under a heat lamp for 12 hours. The whole experience was not good. We had an awful experience and we definitely won't be back!

Excellent first time visit at the Woodfire Grill. We went out for a special occasion as mentioned in the reservation, and Ivan the operations manager and our server both recognized it and mentioned it during our visit. Appetizers, entrees, and desserts were all top notch. Will be coming back again.

Absolute best steakhouse in the Wichita area, located in Kansas Star Casino in Mulvane. We went for the 32 ounce porterhouse date night special on Wednesday night. It's a dinner for two. We are senior citizens, and this is the absolute best porterhouse steak we have ever tasted! And it comes with delicious potatoes and broccolini. Although their other steaks are delicious, also! And perfectly cooked. As well as the other items on their menu. The ambience, staff, servers, everything was just perfect! As it always is! Tomorrow morning among the top three favorite places to dine out at in the Wichita Kansas area. And then we have fun at the casino! Makes for a perfect date night! Or any occasion!

I have ate at the wood fire restaurant several times in years past. This last experience was not good for what we had to pay. Tuna wasn't very good at all but was better than my husbands steaks. Hopefully it was just a bad night because I've never had this problem at this restaurant.
The Caesar salad presentation was awful! It was a tiny wedge of lettuce with three croutons and a very small amount of dressing and parmesan cheese. My filet was overcooked and chewy. Really disappointing meal, but the service was great.

Everyone opted for the steak-which they all loved. I had the chicken-it was OK but would not have again. Those potatoes they served with the chicken were not very good. Overall we love this place!

My first time there I didn't know what to expect, I was very happy with it. My server was very helpful and patient, she didn't hover yet was right there when I needed something. The food was incredible, the portions were larger than I had expected and arrived promptly. There was ample space between tables for conversation and comfort. A very pleasant meal, money well spent.
Disappointed that they changed the menu and got rid of chopped salad and bacon wrapped shrimp. Prime Rib was always good also. Not available anymore. Was happy that at least one side comes with steaks now. But, the price is a little inflated.

Our server Riley was outstanding! Thank you for taking such great care of us! We had a ton of food and drinks, ahi tuna app was my favorite. French martini was delicious. My filet Oscar style was perfect! My husbands strip was not cooked right so he was not loving it, but this is a first for the cook so we will be back. Menu has changed a bit, The sides are noticeably smaller and I miss the lobster bisque. But always a great time and our favorite spot for a holiday get together!
