Their general manager, Michael Philo, is a known rapist and has wittingly spread sihpylis to multiple people, including at least one person under the age of 18. Genuine scum of the Earth who makes me ashamed to share a species with him. Cannot believe they would hire him.

Stopped at the Joplin Mo Billy Sims at 12:45 for 1/2 of pound of sliced brisket. The they at the drive through was very rude. And informed me they had just done a big catering and had no sliced brisket. Isn’t that your business? How does a place that’s main menu idea brisket and they are out? Other brisket place was happy to take my money.

Ordered online 30 minutes before picking it up. When we got there, it was busy and they were not moving very quickly to get people helped. We waited 20 minutes past when our food was ready before we got it. So our food was cold, plus my loaded spud was missing several toppings. Although I understand being busy, for the price you pay for this food, they needed to find a way to keep it warm, and I expect all ingredients to be on my order. I also thought the food was just ok. Nothing I would spend that much on again. This was my first and only time eating here.

Store closes at 9pm. We pulled in the parking lot at 8:28 and actually watched female employee come to the front door and lock it - will be calling manager about this, 9-14-24

I usually love eating here. We get the brisket and pulled pork in pounds. We decided to get a rack of ribs with our order this last time and they were absolutely horrible! First off, they were forgotten in our bag of food as well as the texas toast loaf that was supposed to be in there so we had to go back. The ribs were bad enough to make me not want to come back for anything else again. Dry and chewy and jerky like. I was very disappointed.

Stopped at Newton for lunch, there was great costumer service by Rita. She’s the sweetest! Plus the food was super good and tasty! My family and I loved it we will definitely stop by again.

My husband and I drove from Wichita to visit antique stores in Newton. We had such a fun day. We decided to visit Billy Sims for take out for dinner. We like to visit the smaller restaurants that are not a chain. Usually the food is incredible. Not here. The portions were so small. I was truly upset at spending $30 for 2 pork sandwiches with a side of Mac and cheese. And not a single price for anything was posted. AND, the cashier wanted to charge me again after I just paid the bill!! Must have been a bad day for her. Please don't go to dine here.
Go to Wild Hog BBQ instead.

Recently, they juat ignore people at the drive thru window all the time. I was waiting for almost 10 minutes today. When they finally came to the window, the staff member rudely told me "there should've been a sign saying the window was closed and that there are no more potatoes, go ahead and order." I decided to leave based on that interaction. Service has dropped by a lot and I'm wondering if the food might be too.

Purchased 2 pints of the loaded potato salad. Got 4 containers with 4.3 ounces in each. How is that 2 pints? Defrauding the public. Someone needs to learn how to use a scale. My purchase ended up being about $1.00 per ounce. Won't happen again.
