Went for lunch, had Lunch E which was Mandarin Chicken with fried rice and an egg roll. I really enjoyed it all, the chicken had a nice crunch and puffiness to the batter. Great serving of food for lunch, reasonably priced ($10), would recommend.

Went there for lunch. Was craving Pho, and it was on the menu. The beef broth was excellent. Although the strips of beef in the broth had an interesting flavor, at first I thought it might have been spoiled, but as I chewed it was fine.

Bought a lunch combo for $10 and I got 2 pieces of chicken and “pork lo mein” had very little noddles and they were undercooked and crunchy… I give 2 stars because service was good and rice was good. Maybe I came on a bad day but I definitely would not come back.

Restaurant is clean and modestly decorated. Staff was friendly and quick. The crab rangoon was good as was the bbq pork appetizer. The Mongolian beef was good, the bbq pork foo young was alright. I would pass on the general chicken. It was battered and covered with sauce the way I would expect for sweet and sour chicken. I was excited that there was actually egg in the fried rice (first time finding that in KS)! Food was a little pricier than I expected. I wouldn’t tell anyone not to eat here but I’m not sure I would eat here again myself.

I get the generals chicken with fried rice its always hot, very good flavor and presented well. This restaurant has stayed consistently good while others have taken a turn downhill. They deserve a shot at your business.
My wife and I came here for take out this evening and we were not impressed at all!!!! I ordered the cashew chicken and she ordered the combo plate #1 (sweet and sour pork, fried shrimp, pork lo mein, bbq pork, and fried rice) and we were both very unimpressed with the food we were served! My cashew chicken consisted of unseasoned chicken and soggy cashews and her combo dinner came with 2 pieces of sweet and sour pork, lo mein that had almost no noodles, and bbq pork with no bbq. The waitress that took our order was very kind and the inside of the restaurant was very nice looking but the food was an absolute disaster. I am planning on going back one more time to see if the lunch specials are as much of a flop as the dinner menu (the restaurant is open 11-2 and 5-9) and will be making a separate review of that experience but as far as the dinner specials go ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!! But the egg rolls are very very good! Please don't let me down again china inn!!!!!
