Drove up from Wichita this past weekend to finally make a visit. Everything I had, the bread and pastries, was incredible. There really isn’t much like it in south central Kansas. Bring cash!

The apple Pringle was delicious!
Awesome little bakery, worth the drive to Newton 100% - didn't get there early enough as the gooseberry crisp Danish were sold out, fantastic staff and service.

We especially enjoy the ham and cheese jalapeño croissants and whatever weekly pastries they have, like the chocolate raspberry croissant. Everything we’ve had is buttery, flaky, and authentic! Prices are very reasonable considering it’s homemade with high quality ingredients. Thank goodness they’re only open on Saturday mornings, or I might have to buy a bigger wardrobe. ?

I can't believe I haven't reviewed Crust and Crumb yet!Everything is delicious, beautiful, impressive for guests, and scrumptious to eat.My favorites are all of the sourdough bread, stollen around Christmas, and the various savory options that often involve caramelized onions.

Delicious chocolate croissants and ciabatta bread!
Great local bakery for seasonal and artisanal baked goods. Check their Facebook page before you go on Saturday morning to find out what pastries are available. Also, get there early because there's always a line.
Really good, big, specially done cookies. It's a bit pricey. The customer must be able to order online or with the in-store computer screen. The employees do not come around the counter to help us digitally inept dinosaurs. That would have gotten me back for subsequent visits. Traffic is usually tough in the area. Parking is OK, but watch for all the cross driving. The good news is that Jimmy John's subs and a cool drink place are right there, too.
Better than what was had at a well known Washington D.C. bakery. Definitely need to be there when it opens.
Really good pastries and service with a smile! Starts the day right!

There are no bad choices here. Delicious every time!
Amazing baked goods with super friendly customer service!
You have to get there early on Saturday mornings because they make such good bread and pastries that people plan their weekend around it.
Delicious old-world & croissant-dough pastries! Can't wait to taste the Turkey Red Sourdough! Located on the alley... worth the hunt!!
Great breads and pastries.
