As someone who has nearly unlimited bbq options near where i work and live (kansas city) … i wouldn’t bother with this ever again. The owner was super nice and seemed like a genuine, great person but my review is about his food and it was subpar. The sauce was basically water, the hot was flavorless, the meats were bland, the coleslaw wasn’t worth it. The prices are fair but the portions are just as small as the prices. Also, being Cash Only doesn’t make sense anymore — its 2025.
I also see people upset about the hours, he was eventually open when I walked in but he was late opening. This place seems more like a passion/hobby for the owner vs a legit restaurant/business

Tried going twice withing 24 hours at 230 and 3 pm and the operator isn't even open when they say they're going to be. If you're sold out you should post it on the door but for some reason I highly doubt that's the case. Place didn't even look clean through the windows. I would honestly say don't even waste your time.

The BBQ brisket is amazing, it tastes heavenly, the hot sauce and mild sauce just adds perfect touch. The service was amazing, the guy was super nice and loved to interact with costumers and the meat is always and I mean ALWAYS fresh. The environment was pretty good with nice decor and the was no bad smell, in fact the smell was amazing, the only problem with the decor is the Green Bay Packers merch but that is also coming from a Chicago Bears fan.
Kid-friendliness: The guy was amazing with kids and that is coming from me a kid.

Been going here for a few years on and off. Love the food it has amazing flavor and great taste. I would highly recommend if you have the time and want so amazing bbq go in and have a bite. The owner is always nice and has a great personality. Never a bad day when you feel like you've been friends with the owner since the first day. He remembers customers even when we don't come in for months on end.

Do not make the drive from Wichita! I live 5 miles from this place and won’t be back. I’ve tried to go 4 times over the last year (usually early 1-2pm) and they have either been closed or out of food. Today was the last straw. Got there at 2:30 to find out cash only which was no problem as there is a cash machine near by. The owner stated “go get some cash and I’ll treat you and your wife to the best bbq meal you’ve ever had!” When we returned 10 minutes later from getting cash from the atm, the same guy looked at me like he’d never seen me before and said he was all out of food. So much for the “best bbq meal”. Keeps unprofessional hours and lied to my face. I will not be back.
