I love this location and for the longest time it was my favorite, however it’s slowly been getting worse with the workers constantly messing up my order. I have to go back around majority of the time I order anything because it’s wrong. The cherry limeades never have the cherry or the lime and more than likely the cherry limeade taste like watered down sprite. And they just throw a random soda in a cup (or don’t clean their machines enough) And never get anything bacon cuz they will forget it…

The only thing that remains the same about the south Sonic location in Newton is that the food is always horrible and inedible. Fries are constantly undercooked, soggy and the grease literally drenches the bag they bring it out in. The mozzarella sicks are never cooked fully and the cheese inside is often times cold. They don't bring out the sauces you order (and now have to pay for) and often times end up being out of a sauce while not offering your money back. It's frustrating, disappointing and provoking to pay good money for food that NEVER comes out cooked right. Head to the north location if you want to be able to actually eat the food you spend your hard earned money on.

So right now I've been diggin the Garlic butter bacon buger with tator tots and a Dr pepper but if u need a recharge I'd get a blood orange recharger with red bull.

My amazing carhop, Stormie, got me sold on the unicorn slush drink!!! The unicorns horn as a straw is genius, along with it changing color when the cold drink goes through it! Super cute, fun drink! After the great suggestion, our service was quick, accurate, and our server was super friendly as well as very professional in her work. Stormie and the Unicorn Slush Drink for a win!

We have continued to get the worst service. This is the second time in a row we have ordered and did not get all of our order. When we went back they acted like it never happened. Why cant we get good service in Newton.

The quality of the food in this visit was poor. My cheeseburger was overcooked and charred on the edges. It was edible but just barely. The diet cherry limeade had a strange taste to it that I can’t really describe. Not sure if it is the ice or the syrup.

My son usually likes the pretzel but this one looked like it had been cooked twice and then reheated. He said his ocean water slush had a funny taste as well.

My daughter had a cheeseburger kids meal and she said it was good although the bun was “soaked with ketchup”.

The service was good, it came out fast and the carhop was pleasant.

If we had came in at 3:00 pm I could maybe of understood the subpar food but we were there at noon and it was not busy.

We took our food home to eat, that is why I didn’t bring it up with the manager.

I have gone to this Sonic location for as long as it has been there. Over the last several years the food quality is terribly inconsistent. For $25 I would have expected better.

Please try to do better. It will be awhile before I visit again.

I was at the Sonic Drive-in in Newton Ks on S. Washington road. I pulled up to one of the stalls pressed the red button and I sat there and waited 10 minutes and no one answered the call. So I called the Sonic Drive-in on my cell phone and told the employee what stall I was in and my name and said I have been waiting for 10 minutes and I am not happy. He said we have no confirmation for you and I said I pressed the red button and no one answered the call. He said I'm sorry ma'am I will bring it right out to you now. He brought it out to me and he said I asked everyone and they all said no. I told him what I did and that no one answered, he said no one I said no one. I'm sorry ma'am. Then I got my food from him and I left. I'm still not happy and Sonic just lost three customers
