Bad customer service. One of the staff named Vanessa with a lot of tattoos. Someone named Michael, claiming he is General Manager, may be a shift lead. Did an online order for lobby. They closed down lobby. Went through drive thru, received the food cold.

We’ve lived in Newton for years, and this Taco Bell has had serious, ongoing operational problems for at least four years.
Tonight my daughter was stuck in the drive-through for over an hour. This is not unusual—it’s a pattern.
During long waits, employees are frequently seen outside the building smoking while cars are backed up, and there have been multiple occasions where employee behavior strongly suggested impairment while on the clock. Whatever the cause, it is clearly impacting service, safety, and basic management control.
I understand staffing challenges, but this goes far beyond that. This appears to be a chronic management failure with no accountability. Other fast-food restaurants in town manage reasonable service times—this location consistently does not.
At this point, corporate needs to step in and audit management and operations, because this store is damaging the brand and the community’s trust.
The line always takes a very long time. The handful of times I’ve gone here something has been wrong with my order and my food is cold.
I got nacho fries and somehow they had literally none of the seasoning and just look like a regular old fry. The cheese barley saved it. I'd add a photo but I can't figure out how.

Recently has been getting even worse if possible. Consistently bad. Each time I come here they're always out of something with several hours left of service. (Namely nacho cheese sauce and diet soda.) After multiple times of this I had enough. Whenever they do have stuff it's shoddily-made. Avoid the cantina chicken menu if you enjoy having your insides intact. Think I'll chance the drive to the Park City one now.

To go order was missing 3 soft tacos...no sauce in the bag, or napkins. Also we ordered 2 Mexican pizzas. They were both smashed completely, and had the wrong sauce on them. I normally visit the Hutchinson location, and I recommend you do the same. Steak burritos were made with just beef. Seems they can't/won't follow simple orders, and have no regards for the food.
They did the lady in line infront of me bad and did me bad. No fork or drink with my meal.

Lobby door was open for the public I went to order and staff member said very rudely that they were not open… if you’re not open why is your doors unlocked very unprofessional and will not be back
No one answered the speaker and when we asked if they were open when someone walked by to take the trash out the said they didn't know. It was during their posted operating hours.

I want a refund they keep pushing back online orders so they’re refusing to cook for people who already spent money and can’t get a refund. It’s been an hour. You know how many things I could do in an hour so many things you couldn’t even believe bro. My DoorDash said duck it and went down the road to the gas station just to get cigarettes to calm down because Taco Bell so damn stupid.

I waited in line for 20 minutes just to see the worker hanging out the window smoking a weed pin handed to her from a car full of teenage boys. and a vape. I wish I would’ve gotten a picture 😳. I watched them get their food and then proceed to chat for 10 extra minutes, while the drive thru line piled up. Whenever we got to the window there were multiple orders sitting there waiting to be handed out. I ordered 2 grilled cheese burrito with beef… there was only rice in the tortillas… 😐 The baja blast machine was down and they didn’t have large cups! This is my first ever review and I do have a lot of respect for people who work in fast food, but this is worst service I have ever had here in Newton and would not recommend going at night.

Great news! I’ve cured my Taco Bell addiction! All I had to do was visit this Taco Bell in Newton, KS! Extensive wait time even after ordering ahead in the app. The staff seemed in absolutely no hurry at all, leaning on the counter talking visiting having a good old time while we waited over 20 minutes in the drive-thru. SMH, what is it with Taco Bell?!

The kids who took the orders up front knows what he was doing. Rung in everything right.
However when I got my tacos I payed for them to be supreme. The boy in the front got it right.
The manager in the back still wanted to see the receipt even though the boy tried to tell him it was right. That boy apologized so many times before I even had to come up there. The cooks were messing up left and right and it’s like the guy upfront was expecting it and was trying to be genuine with everyone. Maybe the manager should be up front managing not a team member having to apologize to everyone for their mistakes. I work in fast food I can definitely understand but this is not okay. Own up to it don’t be rude. I even gave back my tacos I won’t eat them without the sour cream or tomatoes. Hence why I upgraded them. Give that boy a raise in the front. He definitely deserves it having to deal with all of that on his own.
The cook seemed nice to when he handed back the right tacos. Think maybe he was new and or was training. If so don’t put newbies on boards in a rush. Or this situation will happen again.

This taco bell seems to get things wrong EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. They are disrespectful and gave my order out to the wrong person and then didn't want to remake it for me. I'm missing an item AGAIN and they got my order wrong AGAIN. Ridiculous
