Other than the bratwurst nothing is German at the "German" buffet.
Stopped by on the way back from hiking at Kannapolis. The food was awesome and we will be back.

Came here about a month ago food was great. Coming here now the food was sub par. It makes me want to go back there and show how food should be cooked. Eggs overdone, potatoes undercooked and French toast should have just been toast as hard as it was. Won't come back for a while. Get it together bread basket.

Just good food! The first time I came, I sat down, but no server came. I had missed the need to go to the back to order. ? This started my discovery of the host menu options: Soups, salads, sandwiches, pies, breads, and specials. All at reasonable prices.

Not what I expected. Biscuits and gravy was ok but not the best. Very over priced.

I recently took my 4-year-old in there trying to find a new regular breakfast spot we can go to at least once a week. I was trying to inquire what they had and had explained that to the cashier lady. But it was no hi welcome or anything like that. She proceeded to tell me how much I owe for a buffet and apparently charged me for a drink as well. I don't eat breakfast I was just getting for my daughter. When going to get a drink for breakfast the only thing they had was soda tea and coffee. No milk or juice, I asked the cashier where they had milk or juice and she told me I have to pay extra for that. Instead of just charging me for a milk instead of the sodas then charge me for a milk as well. The promotion of the unhealthiness, and the thought of drinking soda or iced tea with eggs and bacon is not something I will be bringing my 4-year-old in or for myself to eat ever again. I've never been to a breakfast place or buffet that didn't at least have juice or milk on the drink menu for breakfast. And the food was also cooked to Oblivion.
The food is good but it is absolutely NOT worth the prices they charge. Their portion sizes are even smaller than panera (but their prices are higher), their menu is oddly confusing and the staff works hard to interact with their patrons as little as possible. They don't have a bunch of options (just soup, salad and bread). I dislike "one time through" buffets and the price for a "one time through" plate is what id expect to play for the endless buffet. The endless buffet is the price of a dinner at a five star restaurant but their food is not five star quality. I don't understand how this place stays so crowded all the time.

Thanks to Chad and his team for helping to make our daughter’s wedding reception so nice this past Saturday. They catered a breakfast buffet for us and the food and service was top notch!
