Husband and I are 3rd shifters and saw they had a breakfast buffet. Checked out their own website and showed they were open at 6:30am. We drove an hour to get there and arrived at 630 on the dot to no cars or lights on. Sign in window stated they didnt open til 8am. Would be nice if they adjusted the times on their own website

We haven't dined at the Breadbasket for about 3 years since we don't live in Newton. It used to be a special place for us to visit. Unfortunately, everything about it has gone downhill. Too bad. Now I know why it was nearly empty on a weekend night.

Best German buffet I've had. Only place I have found that does verenika. Update still great just know that the earlier you get there the better it is due to the warming bins drying the product.

We are on a road trip from Alabama headed west. Wanted something besides fast food, great detour! Food was awesome!

NEVER GO HERE FOR THE LUNCH BUFFET It's a well appointed salad bar and eight kinds of soup. Don't know which one was German. I was hungry driving through Newton, went in paid $16.00 for the buffet. no entree, just soups. Got one bowl, and went back to try another, while I was out of my seat, the bus boy took my silverware and my soft drink. So I made another, and had him bring me more utensils, dined, got up for a second to get another bowl of soup, yet again, he took everything off my table yet again. This time I went to the cashier and said give me utensils. He rudely handed me one spoon. i went back for a last bowl of soup. THIS PLACE TREATED ME LIKE S$#T! GO TO REAL BUFFET SOMEWHERE, NOT A $#7T SHOW! LIKE THIS PLACE!!

Other than the bratwurst nothing is German at the "German" buffet.
