We stopped in for supper and got the smoked pork chops which were very good and very large serving as we carried out what we didn’t eat. Sides are a little limited choice wise unless you’re a big potato fan. Good meal and quick service.

There is a gentleman that walks around with pies in his hand & just stares at you, hoping you'll be tempted to buy a piece. It's off-putting because he doesn't say anything, just hovers while you're trying to eat. While this is annoying, it's not the reason for my low rating. There are 2 reasons for that. 1. They allowed a woman to bring her dog (not a service dog) into the restaurant and sit in the booth. When that woman left, one of two waitresses petted the dog and then proceeded to wait on customers, never washing her hands. 2. When we were ordering, the kitchen staff must have been making too much noise (cooking noises - clinking of spatulas on the grill) because our waitress went back and scolded them for it. I've worked in a kitchen before, and those noises can not always be helped. The noises didn't seem to be bothering anyone other than her. She then proceeded to scold the kitchen 2 more times during our visit.

I had the biciscuits and gravey today with hashbrowns today's and the gravey was gross . Biscuits were okay and moist but the gravey wasn't very appealing and the gravey wasn't very appealing . Plus the waitress wasn't very hospitable and one running with cell in her and ring in her nose in her nose and attitude .. I wouldn't recommend ! !

We ate for the first time at Marilyn's Restaurant. We will be back. Clean. Owner and waitress took care of us and made sure we were pleased. They had a good selection of pies. I had blackberry. Very good. Our group had sandwiches.

This place is so yummy!! My husband and I found ourselves in Osage City looking at a truck from Branine Chevrolet. They recommended this place on our first trip down. We didn't make it until our second trip down to buy the truck. Boy, were we glad we stopped. Everything was phenomenal. Service was top-notch, and the pie was to die for.
