Bad, bad, bad …. Watched 2 tables get wrong food orders. Ours came with shrimp which hadn’t been de-veined and full of poop. When we took back to server they didn’t see anything wrong with serving poop filled shrimp. The cheese steak burrito was grizzly steak and no cheese to be seen in or out of the burrito. It’s a hard pass for us going back. Cook was asleep in the booth behind us sprawled out feet up …. Should have been a red flag. Won’t happen again !

As a person from out of town it says something for food quality and service if your willing to drive 45 minutes just to eat here. Everything we ordered was amazing and will be returning soon. So now I have found my permanent Mexican restaurant here and my Asian fusion in Garnett.

We were the only people there, parking lot was completely empty. We stood at the front for 5 minutes waiting to be set. Nobody came so we went and ate at primetime.

Went there last night to eat, we liked it before. It was a nice quiet place with good food. But last night they had very loud mexican music blasting from the speakers and there was no way to have a normal conversation with dinner. We left. Nothing against mexican music but TURN IT DOWN! We went to El Sol and had a good dinner and conversation.

I'm so disappointed to share this review, but hopefully a manager will see it. I finally got my husband to go out to Mexican as it is one of my favorite cuisines, but not his favorite. We walked into Molcajete and it was fabulously colorful and cheerful looking. They have really put a lot of effort and funds into making the atmosphere festive. We were seated and looked over the menu. Our order was taken in a fairly timely manner. My husband couldn't understand the waitresses broken English, which was to our detriment. From then on out, we were not waited on properly, treated poorly and ignored. Our server tended to everyone and everything else around us but we couldn't get a refill or anything else we might have needed. We were finished and waiting for our check and a box for quite some time. I noticed many people had gotten their order and it was incorrect. We had a wrong dish brought to us, as well, but they brought us the correct dish quickly. There certainly is a language barrier with some of the staff which I am fine with. But, to be treated poorly for it is just wrong. As I left the restaurant I saw our waitress behind the counter and I said thank you 3 times. It wasn't until I said muchas gracias that she stopped talking to the other server and looked at us and belted out a slew of words in Spanish which, obviously, we had no idea what she was saying. My husband said we won't be back even though he actually enjoyed the food! I did too, so I am extremely disappointed in the treatment we received just because we misunderstood some words.

Food came out cold, waitress took 30 minutes to give us straws (of all things,) my father recieved his food, 10 minutes later me and my girlfriend get ours. Halfway through us three eating, my mother gets her food. The experience lasted about 2 hours and we were only checked on a handful of times when the restaurant was pretty cleared out. Will not be eating here again.
I can't believe the negative reviews are for the same restaurant that we dined at? Our experience was perfection from the decor, to the cleanliness, the service and most of all the delicious food! Our waitress was attentive and super friendly. 3 adults dined with us and we all agree that the food was so flavorful 😋 and a real value for the amount of food that we were served.
