My wife and I live in Lawrence but will drive to Ottawa to come here. They have fun beers and cocktails. Staff is super friendly. I saw someone mention that the decor is tacky. Not true. They just have a lot of different events that they will decorate for but otherwise it’s a pretty standard looking spot. Ottawa is cooler with this place in it.

Staff is polite but unknowledgeable. Charcuterie board was extremely cheap made, not flavorful, and the food was old. Pretzel needed to be cooked longer and cheese dip was as thin as water. Salami was old enough it was changing color and the cheese was waxy. Olives were starting to go bad . Clean environment but tacky decorations. Beer is okay but nothing is to write home about TV is loud while staff is on the phone at the bar not paying attention to customers. The staff never interacted with us at all they all sat and wanted tv , won't be back.

I discovered Not Lost Brewing Company back around Autumn of 2019 and I instantly was hooked on the place! Not only do they serve some of the most delicious craft beers one could thirst for, but.... They also serve some of the best homemade foods in town! I've been to 9 countries, been to 42 of the 50 US States, and I have to say.. Not Lost Brewing Company has the absolute BEST Nachos in the world! I've yet to have better from anywhere else! Even if you don't wanna take a drink, you gotta try their "Beef Nachos" and its FULLY LOADED (they don't do ya like Taco Bell does with their Nacho Bell Grande)! And on the short side, they have a basic $3-$4 (Less than $5) Chips, Salsa and Queso dip which is just delicious for a quick snack!
One of my favorite kinds of Beer from Not Lost are their DELICIOUS SOUR BEERS!! Every now and then they craft up a SOUR BEER and it is always 100% amazing!! The best one they've ever released was back in 2019 and it was the Plum Sour and man. Although it's ABV was up there, I'd have a 2-4 glasses of that because it just hit the spot! They've have other sours since then that I've just been hooked on, I love sour candy and always have and sour beer just .. The shoe fits, so wear it!
Not Lost was actually the very first CRAFT BEER brewery that I've ever gone to, it was my introduction to Craft Beer because before this place came into my life.. I had no idea about the very concept of a craft beer. I always knew Budweiser, Budlight, Coors and the mainstream commercial stuff (which I never really drank much of before because I never liked those too much, they lacked character and delicious flavor). Thus, when I discovered CRAFT BEERs from Not Lost.. It changed my entire perception of Beer and introduced me to an entirely new universal variety of beer (a custom beer, so to speak)!
All-in-all, if you ever make it to Ottawa, Kansas - even if you don't like alcohol or just don't drink.. You have just have to stop in here because not only are their beers fantastic, unique and one-of-a-kind, but their food is homemade AND they have live music here and there as well as sometimes, the Ampersand Vinyl, a local pop-up style record store owned and operated by Shawn - he occasionally hosts a pop-up vinyl record store in Not Lost where he DJs for a set of hours usually in the evenings where he plays records, buys and sells records in the brewery - so not only do you get to sip on some delicious homemade craft beer and delicious food, but you also get the chance to buy some awesome vinyl records from a guy who truly knows good music!
And that's not all, sometimes they host games like Bingo!, Trivias and so much else! The seating here is very spacious, there's lots of room at the actual counter / bar itself, plus various seats and tables throughout the place as well as a couple at the window so you can enjoy your cuisine and music and watch the traffic of downtown Main go by! Not Lost is one of my favorite places to spend time when I'm in my birth town of Ottawa, Kansas just because of the services they offer. And sometimes, they even have live music from local artists (FREE OF CHARGE)!!!
