Kansas Rage

This was a great evening out with family. I had a BBQ burrito deep fried and it was amazing! Even better, all of our meals were affordable. The waitress was very nice and helpful. Overall great experience and will go back again!

First time stopping in for lunch. We had the smoked meatloaf special.
We were promptly greeted and seated. Service was awesome. Lunch came out within minutes of ordering. The serving size was more then expected. Plus the meatloaf was very tasty.
I highly recommend it.

This was such a fun addition to our date night repertoire! Dana was out server and gave excellent tips and service! The food was delicious, the portions were nice, and the napkins were plentiful! The restaurant was clean and not sticky, everyone in the place was smiling, including the staff, and we will definitely be going back again! It was a quick drive from Lawrence!

First timer, from Garnett. New to area-and Kansas(!)-but you can bet I’ll be back, with family in-tow. Super good “pig” sandwich & side (beans). Service was friendly and quick, and the place-inside and out-is very tidy & clean. Looking forward to my next trip already. The smoked meatloaf looked/smelled awesome👊

Brisket was not smoked with a bark and smokey taste. More like boiled and realy tuff. Fries where just little grease soaked pieces. Sausage was good. Got off the freeway for this, keep going!

I admit, I have been an avid fan. Last three times I have been in, the meat has been undercooked. Sorry, but chewy brisket, ribs that you have to naw off the bones, chicken that is pink in the middle (I get that pink ring on the edge is smoke, but come on!).
Mac and cheese, thick pasty mess.
Used to be creamy and wonderful.
Ask for something specific, like chopped 3x, get at best run across by a knife twice, thats not chopped 3x! I even told the server I don't have any darn teeth!

Ribs served almost raw. They were not even pulled back from the end of the bone! Who serves ribs that haven't let loose of the bone?

Brisket that even someone with teeth can't eat a brisket sandwich without destroying the sandwich to take even one bite.

Seems the place lost its interest in quality. I can't say that I recommend this place anymore. Sad, I have spent thousands in here!

Food was very bland this time and waitress was very rude when we pointed it out. Also they now upcharge for credit card use which is illegal to not disclose ahead of time. And also tax fraud if they don’t pay profit tax on the up charge. Just want to point this out to everyone so they are aware. Will never return. Beer was good but that’s because it’s not theirs. Beer was from Not Lost Brewing. I recommend just going there instead.
