Food was ok. The young man taking our order and waiting on us was very sweet and courteous but as we were eating the cook I’m thinking the owner was sitting talking to a man that was in there the phone was ringing and she rudely and gruffly told the boy to answer the dang phone while they sat gossiping. Not professional and no way to speak to a kid in front of customers. He might be 12 or 13. Just did not set well with us. The young man is the only one who spoke to us. Very polite and courteous.

As I am on my most noble quest to try all the plates of biscuits and gravy there is I stopped by Rock Creek Cafe on a breezy morning.The biscuits and gravy I had was grand and I was euphoric. Any sad feelings one may have or be experiencing these biscuits and gravy are sure to fill you up with hearty positive energy.Absolutely delicious.Too bad google won't let me upload the photo.

Found this gem when searching for local places while stopping in Overbrook for work from KC. This is a cute cafe that serves tasty food. I got the Cubano with their pub chips and it was fantastic. Anytime I come back to Overbrook I will stop here to grab something to eat. Also, the owner, Deb is a sweetheart!
