Wow wow wow!! This place is a dream. If sitting at a country farm table in a grove of trees lined with twinkle lights, relaxing for hours with beautiful views, while eating chef prepared gourmet foods, listening to music and visiting with incredible wait staff is your view of the perfect evening , this place is for you. We enjoyed a phenomenal belated anniversary dinner last night at Saltwell. It was our first time back since a 2023 fire forced them to shutter their doors for restoration. The experience starts with a scenic 30-minute drive down winding country roads, past rolling fields and limestone fences, to an 1800's-era farmstead complete with rustic barns and a host of farm animals. Lovely ambience and the staff were very nice. Had a lovely cous cous salad course and the focaccia is absolutely to die for. The sirloin main course was tasty, but it was served with mashed potatoes shaped like something from a school cafeteria. The dessert was forgettable by the time we got around to it. The pace of service was awfully slow. We didn’t leave until 4 hours after we’d arrived and that’s too long for my tastes. Considering we paid 125 a head this fell short...
