My husband and I are visiting a family member in the area, and we were looking for a place to eat near by. We found this place in Overbrook, the food is good, the service great, it's our weekly dinner place.
Salad Bar is nice and despite the following dissapointments my wife and I agreed its worth the drive for salad bar only price since we live 5 miles away, but hot food was a disappointment. I went there because fish and chips was recommended but it was greasy and small portion size for price, $9 for fries and 3 pieces of cod that were basically same amount of meat as 1 LJS fillet. Fries tasted "old". Daughter got bacon cheddar fries and for some reason the after taste...
TJ's Mainsteet Grill is a hidden gem in the town of Overbrook, Kansas. The food is awesome. The atmosphere is relaxed and gives you that "come on in" feel, with a small town community charm.
