Order ahead, and when you go for pickup, ask for a tour! The proprietor is generous with his time and knowledge, and will happily explain all that goes in to the raising of your dinner. There's a whole system for the water, the air, the feed, and other organic matter to remove byproducts from the water. There's a bank of solar cells on the south facing roof. And then there's the whole technique of cooking your shrimp with the heads still on for peak flavor. Your curiosity will be rewarded!

Super cool operation! I did some work at the property and got a tour. Seriously. . Where else are you going to get fresh shrimp in Kansas? He sells to restaurants but will sell to public if you call ahead and set it up. Don't just walk in. I saw everything there and wouldn't think twice about buying from him. In fact.. I should probably order some now haha!
