Nice casual dining. Stopped in before heading home from a camping trip. Bacon cheeseburger was great. Fries were wonderful as well. Stop in and support local!

Traveling through from out of town and we really wanted to love this place. We hoped a little hole in the wall type restaurant with "Granny" in the name would have some wonderful home made cooking, but the food was only fair. I had the chicken fried steak and it was obviously taken out of the freezer and thrown into a fryer. The breading was so hard I thought I was going to break a tooth. I actually had to spit parts of it out because it was like small rocks, and too hard to chew. My mashed potatoes were fine, but likely instant mashed potatoes. Texas toast was perfect. My wife loves her pancakes and sausage, but hated the onion rings. The waitress was friendly. The restaurant seemed clean. We finished our food, but wouldn't go back.

Good atmosphere, good coffee, good breakfast food and clean.
We got drinks with stuff floating in them, ask for new and never got them. scrambled eggs were not cooked all the way, pancakes were runny in the middle, sausage patties like charcoal bricks, gravy on the B&Gs was room temperature cool. The bowls of butter and jelly on the tables had used tubs and straw wrappers/empty sugar packets mixed in with the 'clean'. I ate my breakfast with my husbands spoon because my silverware was dirty when I unrolled it, ask for clean, and never got any clean brought back. I would usually overlook some if they were busy, but the dining room was less then half full, and we were the biggest party there at the time. Overall not a good experience and will not recommend. $60 lesson learned.
Very good place to eat! Our waitress was amazing and nice as well. The food was good!

Great little place to have breakfast
Food was fast, hot and tastyService was friendly and had a great attitude. If we lived in the area we would definitely be back. The only negative is that it was cold in the dining room and even colder in the bathroom. Makes your food get cold before you can eat it. I ordered hot chocolate and they were out. No coffee for me because they didn't have any creamer and I didn't want cold milk in my coffee.

Stopped here for the first time this morning for breakfast heading home trying to outrun a winter storm and we didn’t check the reviews beforehand. As it turned out, the food is AMAZING! The service and atmosphere are just what you would expect from a small town diner. Everyone knows one another, stories and laughter abound, and the coffee is to die for! The ONLY inconvenience (and it doesn’t affect my rating because it’s winter) is the bathroom was COLD! LOL! Do yourself a favor, stop in for a great breakfast and strong coffee and maybe hear a good story or two. Thanks y’all!
