Boyfriend isn’t very adventurous when traveling or dining out. For some reason he trusted me to lick for once. Despite directions taking us to the back door (very sketchy for my boyfriend….thought for sure he’d veto it at this point….he did ask if I’d rather get a sack of breakfast sandwiches at nearby fast food). We walked though the kitchen to get in and I saw his face was very doubtful. But then he saw the prices and the selection. He was so pleasantly surprised....
Husband and I stopped in while traveling. Service was very good and friendly. But the food was wonderful! Eggs were a tad over done but the hask browns had great flavor. The biscuits and gravy were great. Homemade biscuits that were excellent. But the sausage!!!! That sausage was amazing and the server told us it was made local. I want to order some if possible. Would definitely go back again if it wasn't so far away from us.
Truly a step back in time and well worth...

If you are looking for hometown atmosphere with home cooked food, this is your place.
My husband and I stopped here when passing through Pittsburg and thoroughly enjoyed the Yost omelet we shared. Quite possibly the BEST omelet we have ever had.... with homemade bread for toast. I hope our travels bring us back this way again.
The young man who was waiting tables extremely busy but he still managed to stay organized and was pleasant as well.
