the Owner is constantly yelling and cussing at his staff. The food is decent but the man ruins his restaurant. I will not spend my money there again after seeing the way he treats people.

Last night I witnessed the cook, who I later found out was the owner scream, yelling, and curse at a young waitress. It was beyond disgusting. Will NEVER EVER spend a dime here.

One of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time! Staff was great and the owner/chef was top notch. The steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. Great atmosphere for a perfect date night!! We will definitely be back!

Very overpriced for the quality of food. The cook in kitchen was screaming at the wait staff, making a very unpleasant evening. My wife had the Cod(which was just frozen fried fish) 27.00, I had a ribeye that was partially flavorful because I paid extra for onions on it. Overall the wait staff was very friendly and pleasant, the food was very sub par for the price point. 67.00 for two plates and water is double what should have been. Lesson learned we will never return.

The food was great, and our server, Ethan, was attentive and paced the meal nicely. I would highly recommend Jim's!

Service was horrible. We had to wait almost 10 minutes for our drinks then we had to wait for an hour & a half for our food. Food was NOT worth the price or the wait. Server never checked on us after we ordered our food or after we received our food.

The service was good but the food was way over priced and absolutely no seasoning! The food was very disappointing

Started going to Jim’s probably 35 years ago. I was in town visiting family and had to stop. It was exactly as I remember. Amazing steaks.

It’s a time warp. Nothing has changed. Steaks are still great.

Jim’s is and always has been a fabulous restaurant! A great old-school steak place vibe with great cuts of steak and good prices.

Food was so so. Will probably not return. The waitress did an awesome job. The ceiling was very dirty. The cooks were bickering back and forth and the older guy was an a-hole to the rest of the staff. I would guess he is the owner.

The crew and myself were traveling for work through Pittsburgh and happened to stumble upon this hidden gem! We pulled in not knowing what to expect, entered into a through back to the classic Italian aura. Our starters were prepared and served with quality and precision. Their menu hit the spot with thick juicy steak and unique and delicious flavors. (Their infamous Onions rings are a must try!). Exceptional service, Ms. Jennifer was one of the best hostesses we’ve had in a long time. Very friendly and attentive. Also had the pleasure of speaking with the owner of this establishment. Mr. Frank spoke of his extensive experience and expertise in the culinary industry and it definitely shows! Highly impressed with this team of people and would definitely recommend Jim’s Steak & Chop House. (Next time I want what he’s having)
