I’m so glad the classic Jim’s Steakhouse sirloin tips and onion rings are still available. It reminds me of 1993 when I worked there as a busboy. It is a cornerstone of Pittsburg cuisine! Recommended!
The steaks were great! We were just disappointed with the size of the sides, especially the mixed veggies. On a $35-40 dinner that includes a single side, it'd be nice to have a little more veggies than a single broccoli, single carrot, couple pepper strips, and 1-2 other small veggies.

This place sucks. 36$ Ribeye with fries. Ribeye left alot to be desired. Not seared or seasoned well at all. Salad was laughable. Don't waste your money here.

I’m not sure what Frank’s problem is with not wanting to work with my lovely server to prepare me a medium ribeye steak this evening. After waiting for 45 minutes my server informed me that Frank would not turn on the printer so she could send in my order. I asked Frank why he would not prepare my steak! He told me he didn’t have a ticket for it. I’m not sure what his problem was but my business was not important to him or he would have found a solution not an excuse. I life your either part of the solution or part of the problem. Thanks Frank for your concern for my dining experience at your restaurant.

Absolutely the worst service did get our salads. Food was good but Waitress informed us the bill was the same whether we get our salad or not. She would not have a job. Was informed there was no manager so no one to complain to. I have never been anywhere so rude. Was always a special place to eat. Will never go back. So sad.
I had a perfect filet for my birthday, the price was reasonable. It was so delicious!

This was our second time since these buyers took over. Terrible both times!! The food was not eatable. Dressing for salad was so thick had an old taste as well did the steak. Cake was disgusting I couldn’t sallow it. We will never go back. A $100 dollar meal I didn’t eat but a salad, which was old lettuce. Never ever again!

Restaurant is beautiful, wait staff are friendly, and attentive. That’s the only good things I can say ,about this. Restaurant.The restaurant it self looks like a giant mono tone box, outside of the antique neon sign out side, there is no sign that it is even a restaurant. That being said, if you don’t have reservations, don’t go, we waited an hour for are table, and an hour for are food, witch was severely overcooked, and not worth the price. Coast was low for the type of restaurant, but high , considering the lack of quality.
Portions are very generous! Onion rings are yummy. Steaks are great. A little dated with the decor. Staff was friendly. The food... yum! Worth the price and nice place to take kids. Not a bar scene.

12/15/23. Just left and was extremely sad and disappointed. Jims has been a favorite for 40 plus years. When they reopened I was so excited. I have given them the benefit of the doubt 5 times. This was the last service was poor, food was mediocre at best. I will be not be back. This my first and only review for anyone ever in my life. $80.00 for 2 people WOW!
