I took my class of 12 students (5th graders) and 4 adults to TOAST on a Thursday for lunch during a field trip. I had contacted the restaurant and ordered ahead of time, and they were so wonderful in making our experience a great one. Our tables were ready and set when we arrived and the food came out quickly, and for a party of 16– that’s a lot of food all at once! The food was delicious, the wait staff were attentive, and we had a great experience.
Food was delicious!! The homemade bread made for amazing toast, and of all the little things, the fruit cup was perfect. Freshly cut fruit with a tasty drizzle. Will definitely be back!
Great option for a light lunch (we had the 1/2 sandwich and soup special) in a comfortable, bright downtown space. Friendly and attentive service.

Huge selection of hipster food with amazing flavor and superb atmosphere - you'll enjoy this beautiful restaurant on 4th Street. It has the feel of a chic restaurant from Lawrence with local goods and ingredients sold here. If you want a hometown feel and a little cheaper price, head to Bob's, Otto's, or Harry's.We enjoyed a take-out breakfast that took 40 minutes to get to us. The food still had a great temperature despite some of it sitting on the counter for about 20 minutes. They already had a sign prepped explaining that because of a small kitchen and staff (of 2), orders can take more time.The hold-up was mac and cheese. Noodles still a little firmer than al dente and the sauce dropped to the bottom of the bowl. The toast was all crunch. The breakfast sandwiches had good flavor, although the bread would have been easier to bite through if just a tad softer.Overall, an great place to grab a bite if you are looking for a fresh, new taste.

I have to eat gluten-free due to celiac disease, and this is one of the only places I will go to eat because, while they aren't a gluten-free kitchen, they take special precautions, and I feel confident that they are careful and conscientious. Their menu is thoughtful, they often have locally-sourced ingredients, and they have consistently excellent food and service and a friendly staff! Great for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, with fun drink options and yummy dessert.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options
