A hometown dining experience that is comfortable but never pretentious. When you go, expect tasty food that is prepared with care. Do not expect fast food by any stretch of the imagination. If they're cooking it, they will cook it properly, and it's going to take a while, but it'll be worth the wait for the price.Parking: Unless the drive-thru is empty or nearly so, you're better off parking and going inside. There is parking on both sides and around back.

Screwed up our order something terrible. Ordered 3 meals, one with onion rings. No onion rings (or toast) were given aith said order. Ordered two large cheese curds. Received one large and one regular and charged for 3 large. Cost $50 (literally) for three chicken strip meals, a large cheese curd and a regular cheese curd. The 6 pc chicken strip basket meal with a drink was $13 and the 4 piece basket without a drink and 1 large cheese curd was $20. (LG cheese curds are $4.49) Someone please explain this math to me? ? Called them after we got back to our destination with the order and when asked how much one of the meals was, she literally would not give an answer and kept giving the run around. Save your time and money. This place is a joke. Horrible, horrible customer service and way overpriced!

So slow, wait at the window for 15 minutes, then told to wait out back for another 15 minutes. Fast food, this isn’t it. Better off going to Hays. This town needs competition for this place.

I am not exaggerating when I say that the cheeseburger and fries that I ate during my visit to this location were quite possibly the most amazing cheeseburger and fries I have ever received at any fast food restaurant in my life. I know this sounds a bit dramatic, but dear lord I loved each bite. The drive thru at this location is a potential disaster as any more than one vehicle in line for the ordering sign will pretty much be sticking out on to the main road, which just baffled me when I was waiting in line and praying to my rosery that a semi didn't decide to come barreling down the road. We had to wait maybe 10 or so minutes after ordering our food, but once we got it and had our first bite, the wait was so worth it. This DQ is doing it right. ???

I am from Maryland and tired of the freeway (I-70) got off the freeway in Kansas to enjoy our beautiful country. Stopped at this Dairy Queen....an oasis in the prairie! There was a bit of a wait..but EVERYTHING was delicious and hot! Fries were outstanding and the hamburger...loaded with everything was the best hamburger I have had in ages!! The staff was so nice...putting a star on the map to visit again!! Thanks for the terrific break!

Ants in and around table. Hamburger tasted off. Fries were hot and good. Business needs to spray for ants and keep packets of catsup not plastic bottles left on tables.

Nice friendly workers, clean, and great food!

The best food around! Had fairly speedy service (Burgers get done faster than chicken). A nice place to sit down to eat, especially on a hot day. Great pretzels, and the honey bbq chicken is the best! Employees are very friendly, and will do whatever they can for you. Also it is extremely clean! Cleanest restaurant in a 100 mile radius.

Stopped by as since I was in Plainville my wife wanted the 4 piece Chicken basket with country gravy for her birthday today...They were friendly, even though it was lunchtime the wait was fairly short.Got home and the food was great, they're about 15 miles away but we'll definitely be going back.

Easily the slowest DQ within a 300 mile radius. Doesn’t matter if they’re busy or not, expect to wait atleast 30 minutes for your food. If you don’t have a full hour for lunch don’t try to come here for your lunch break. It’s not like they’re even making the food any better so what’s the excuse?

Good ice cream you can't go wrong ☺️ with DQ.

Always fresh, may take a bit to get your food. But don't ever have to worry about it being cold.
