“Guy and Mae’s… what can I say? I have been reviewing barbecue restaurants for over a decade. I have been to Franklin’s in Austin Texas.I have been to Arthur Bryant’s in Kansas City. I could go on all day about the famous barbecue places I’ve been to. Guy and Mae’s Tavern is my favorite. It is unique ,and stands above the crowd. It is not like any other barbecue you will have. Their ribs are amazing. Their sandwiches are amazing. Their sauce VERY unique !! ( I drink it ) 😝 People come from all over the country, to go out into the middle of nowhere in Williamsburg Kansas. They do this for a very good reason. 🍖 This place feels like going back to my childhood every time I go there. Always on point. When I have this barbecue, I know exactly what to expect and they have never let me down. 🙏 LOVE THIS PLACE !!!”

“Stopped in on the way back from Manhattan, KS. Met both owners and a bunch of their friends/best customers. Everyone was so super friendly that we ended up staying much longer than we anticipated. Very accepting, fun atmosphere. We will definitely be back.”
