We happened to find this gem on our way to Colorado 11/2 weeks ago. We had the best breakfast and visit ever. We also bought the most delicious butter cake with almond extract.On our way back home we made sure to revisit John and his fabulous breakfast offering. Wow!!!Wish we lived closer but a drive from Pennsylvania is a bit much.We hope to visit the Southside again next year!!

While camping nearby, we found this hidden gem! So glad we did. The food and hospitality were incredible. Homemade and good quality ingredients are hard to find these days. John is so easy to talk to and he is very knowledgeable about nutrition and supplements. Thank you John for such an enjoyable meal and conversation. It was a pleasure!!!

Totally unexpected, great food. Pork tender sandwich fantastic, so was the bratwurst. Homemade horseradish, and an assortment of hot sauces. The owner, chef, and chief bottle washer was fun and personable. Wish we could have had more meals there to explore more of the specialties. Highly recommend, well worth going out of your way for.
