The best choices are brisket bagel and the bagel and gravy sausage.

Everything else is good too. The place makes me think: of the Panera Bread bagel edition. - 4 stars because I guess bagels just don't do it for me. I'd rather go to Panera. I tried a lot of their menu.

Also wanted to add I hate Google reviews, and my review is more for me than you - people of the internet you need to know, that certain 5-star places that hawk their reviews are just getting all bad reviews removed and maintaining a 5-star when they a lie, while places such as Einstein bagels bigger corporate places have bad reviews when they aren't awful or unworthy of being shopped at. Our review system sucks.

This was my first time going to Einstein bagels. I had picked up a DoorDash yesterday and it smells so good. I decided to try it. I got recommended a cold brew frappe which was delicious. They couldn’t have picked a better option, but the whole reason I went was to try some of the Schmear‘s. I got a classic bagel, bacon, egg and cheese and decided to add avocado and the garden Schmear I get back home and there’s no Schmear on my bagel. The whole reason I went was for that other than that the service was amazing and my drink was excellent. I’ll be going back but will be checking my order before I leave. Got a dog bagel for my dog since he just got out of the vet, but I get home and it’s hard as a rock. I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be like that, but she can’t even eat it.

The food I ordered today was all tasty not going to lie but it wasn’t my correct order. If I order and cinnamon sugar bagel and a maple French toast bagels than I should definitely get that instead of blueberry bagels. Blueberry is great and all but it’s totally not what I ordered.

I stopped by this place recently and was genuinely impressed. I ordered the breakfast bagel sandwich, and it absolutely hit the spot—fresh, flavorful, and just the right amount of savory to kickstart the morning. You can tell they care about quality because the ingredients tasted fresh, and the sandwich was made with attention to detail, not something just thrown together.

What really stood out to me, beyond the food, was the overall vibe. The service was warm and welcoming, which made the whole experience feel effortless. I was in and out quickly, but not in a rushed or impersonal way. The staff seemed genuinely happy to be there, which you don’t always see these days. It made the visit feel more personal.

Another thing I appreciated was the variety on the menu. It’s always nice when a place offers multiple solid options rather than just one or two standouts. Whether you’re craving something hearty or a bit lighter, they seem to have something for everyone.

That said, I do wish there was some indoor seating. There’s definitely enough space inside for a couple of small tables or a counter along the wall. Right now, the setup is very much geared toward grab-and-go—order at the counter, pay, and take your food with you. While I get the concept and it works for those in a hurry, having the option to sit down and enjoy your meal, especially on colder or rainy days, would really elevate the experience.

All in all, this is a great little gem, and I’m already planning to make it a regular stop. It’s convenient, the food is excellent, and the customer service is on point. With just a small tweak in seating, I think it could easily become a local favorite for both quick bites and casual hangouts.

Don't expect to get your food warm.

They took all the tables out. I was looking for a place to sit and work for a bit.

Bagels were fresh, service was friendly and quick. This location is my favorite, can definitely tell a difference between those and the others in kc.

They have space for indoor dining but refuse to let you use it. Post pandemic laziness..

No consistency on quality control for food. Sometimes I come here and get tons of cream cheese on my bagel and other times there's not even enough on it to cover the whole thing. I don't like going places where it's a roulette whether or not I'm going to enjoy my food. Also anytime I order toasted on the app they never bother to toast my bagel. Think I'll find a different bagel place from now on.

Why would they not have any tables?? A giant empty room like it's 2021?.

My daughter and I went in and ordered our sandwich to share asked when ordering to have it cut in half! The lady that took are order was really sweet! She forgot to tell the lady that made the sandwich. I kindly asked the manager to please cut it in half! He was rude and refused to ! I am most upset with the fact I Tip and was treated so poorly!

We are from out of town but always make it a point to go to Einstein's when in town. I ALWAYS look forward to the everything bagel, toasted, with salmon schmear (which I have been for years affectionately referring to as 'a slice of heaven') and a scalding hot, dark cup of coffee (occasionally a breakfast sandwich when I'm particularly hungry), and enjoying it in the clean, air conditioned comforts of Einstein's. Admittedly, we usually go to the location on College Blvd. Today was a different experience. After her prodding, my daughter and I got up early and made the 16-mile trek from our hotel in Legends specifically to experience the love of ours we've shared for over 15 years. A little about our experience....

First the good. The employees were pleasant and engaging...and we did get our order fulfilled *fast* (of course, there was, I think, only one other customer in the store at the time). My daughter did enjoy her everything bagel toasted with plain schmear (she gave it a 4-star). And we did get to experience some father/daughter time over bagels and coffee.

Now for the not so good. We arrived at a store that felt cold and uninviting (a dining area with not a single seat or table certainly didn't help). My greatest disappointment was when the young lady taking my order informed me salmon schmear was no longer available. (She was sweet...she deserves a raise!) After asking her if the person that made that decision had bumped their head, I settled for the jalapeno salsa schmear. When we received our order, since no seating was available inside, we settled for taking a a seat at the steel chairs in the hot sun outside where we took our lives into our hands everytime someone pulled into the stall just short of our knees.

When I got up to throw something away, the trashcan outside by the door was so full, the lid was raised up and trash had overflowed onto the ground.

My recommendations:
1. Give your front line workers (especially the young lady who took my order) a raise, but train them better on the small things (i.e. pick up trash and regularly empty trash cans)
2. Tar and feather the yahoo who made the obscenely moronic decision to stop serving salmon schmear
3. Bring back the salmon schmear and add a menu item: "Slice of Heaven - toasted everything bagel with salmon schmear"
4. Put tables and chairs in your dining area and take a few more steps to make your store comfortable and inviting
5. Notify me when you have completed steps 1-4 so I know when we can return

If you own this franchise, please give Dennis a raise.

This morning my company placed a large order for our healthcare workers. (I had attempted to order in advance multiple times but the app indicated it had to be ordered the day of. Place at 6:13 for a pickup at 7:30AM)

We sent staff member to pick up the order. Our staff member witnessed a tall man with a beard (didn’t catch his name) be incredibly rude to an employee named Dennis when he was trying to make sure he was taking the correct order.

The bearded employee was extremely rude to our coworker after she noticed her order was sitting ready to go but needed schmear. As she was offering to pick the schmears herself he said “YOU GOT SOMETHING TO SAY TO ME” which she responded “I guess know my role and shut my mouth”.

Hey buddy with the beard, we all have bad days but a little kindness and compassion go a long way. Hope you have a better day, Dennis gets a raise and maybe a lesson on how you treat others truly matters. I wish I was there with my coworker to tell you this in person.
