I ate here a couple of times while I was visiting St Francis. Excellent service and the food was very very good. If you are in the area and want some good Mexican food, definitely give this place a try, you will not be disappointed!Kid-friendliness: They did have a kids menu availableParking: I went here once during the week and parking was fine, but I went on a Sunday and the parking seemed to fill up after we arrived.... however there was a party of 16 that arrived after us. the cars could have been from them

We were traveling through town on US 36 and had a craving for Mexican food. Stopped here and picked up street tacos to go to eat in the nearby park. The folks running the place were very friendly and prepared the food very well.

We are locals that enjoy eating Mexican food. We eat in Mexican restaurants frequently when traveling and have never found one with better food than El Jalapeno. The manager/owner is a hard working person and very personable. He has high expectations which become obvious when you taste the food and see the cleanliness of the restaurant. I hope you will give them a try.
