Awesome place in a small town atmosphere. You'd never expect the great customer service and exceptionally well prepared and awesome tasting food that comes out of this 50's style diner. If you drive anywhere close to Sharon Springs, Kansas, do not pass this once in a lifetime experience. Again, great food and perfect service.

This post is late, but I had to write about this place. In my time of need, just days before the Thanksgiving holiday, 2023... the staff at Penny's were the nicest ppl you can ever meet. I was completely stranded after my car broke down. Luckily, there was a hotel next door to provide me shelter and the diner had food perfect to my liking. I couldn't thank them enough for their hospitality and support during a tough time. Thank you all for helping me out. I think and pray for everyone there daily. If anyone ever passes through Sharon Springs, KS ... please stop to get a bite to eat and meet everyone there.

The burgers that we got, the meat was rank...it was just about rotting...when I told the manger I guess all she did was take my daughter burger off and charged me for the rest and the only one that got to eat was my son cause he got a club sandwich...the total of the bill was 58.00

Travel back in time by going to this charming place, from the music, the memorabilia, the fresh food made to order on the bar side griddle to the deliciously creamy old-fashioned milkshakes ?...The nice clean bathrooms and friendly staff are just the cherry on top. I'm so happy to have found this place ?

Passing through and the Farmhouse restaurant was not open yet. Thought we would try out this diner and the pancake, eggs, and bacon was cooked to perfection!!! Thank you folks for the best breakfast yet! Amazing for not cooking a breakfast meal in 30 years! :)

What a great nostalgic retro diner. Food was good and prices were fair. The place was spotless. Service was exceptional and friendly. Fellow diners were fun to talk too. Would love to go back for breakfast but just passing through on the scenic byway on our way to the Great Sand Dunes Lodge in Colorado.

This was the only place open in town BUT the food was good. Only one person running the place and cooking AND serving as check-in for Travelodge next door. and it was busy. But he managed to juggle it all and serve a great meal.
