The Bull Pen Reviews
My family's favorite place to go eat, great atmosphere and the owners are one of a kind! We go every time we are in the area, and sometimes just to go there! Great food, great people, only wish it was closer!
Been quite a while since I've been in, but it was always great service and excellent food
Menu
The Bull Pen is a sports bar that offers a pleasant dining experience, thanks to its good service. While the food may not be exceptional, it is better than expected, especially on Taco Tuesday when the tacos are described as "epic." The menu features items like chicken tacos, sliders, and wings, accompanied by freshly made chips and salsa. The atmosphere is cozy with plenty of TVs and a considerate noise level, making it suitable for families with young children. The booths are solid wood and sit straight up, which some find uncomfortable, and most chairs are metal that scrape on the floor, adding to the overall discomfort. The bartenders provide excellent service, making an effort to ensure customers feel taken care of. The bar food is described as mediocre, but the help makes it almost tolerable, with suggestions to drain grease and season dishes well. Many customers come specifically for the food, which is fantastic and extremely inexpensive—like the $10 for a lot of food on Taco Tuesday. The place has a specific regular crowd, but the main bartenders are friendly, remember preferences, and treat customers well. Overall, The Bull Pen may not be a high-end establishment, but it has charm and takes extra steps to make visits more memorable than other similar places in the city. It remains a great spot for a quick happy hour drink or a casual meal while watching a game.
