Pulled up to drive thru. Nobody answers. 5 min later, I pull to the window. 2 people look right at me and keep going. I called the store and asked if someone would come help me. The guy, throws open the window and doesn't say sorry, hi nothing. Then I asked for a blast and water and wanted a third item but he slammed the window shut. Then he asks for money and didn't give receipt. He hands me my stuff and slams the window shut again. He didn't give my receipt or napkins. After another 5 min wait, he finally opened the window . I sat there so long all I remembered was napkins. He was rude, and didn't seem to like the fact that I was there. He had the headset in one ear and an ear pod in the other. Now we know why he didn't know I was there. Don't worry sonic, I'll never disturb you again. And don't send me your 800 number. When I called they spent 7 minutes pretending to not be able to fund the sonic in question. People, there is a McDonald's across the street. Go there instead.

I drive through South Hutchinson 34 times a week. Lately this location cannot even get their store open by 7 AM. Luckily, McDonald’s is across the street. Sorry for your loss.

Nothing like waiting at the counter for 5 to 10 minutes for no one to take your order. The employees walk around doing nothing but ignoring the front counter. Have seen several people leave waiting for service. Would not recommend stopping here. They don't care.

Walked in with my partner, there was only 1 person in line ahead of us. There were 0 cars in drive through. The cashier took the persons order and said "I'll be right with you" we stood there for five minutes. NOTHING. The other person didn't get their food. Walked into the truck stop side for a crappy breakfast burrito. Myself being stubborn decided to try one more time before we left. A blue shirt woman worker was stocking sauces in the lobby, no greeting, not a single attempt at service. No other employees in sight. Lazy staff. Lucky they are a truck stop that's the only option for these truckers or they'd been out of business a while ago.

Stopped here for lunch to try the Smasher burger. I think this Sonic forgot how to fast food. The service was friendly and fast, order was correct, tater tots and onion rings were hot, crispy, and amazing. The smasher burger is really good. This is a good Sonic. No soggy tots, old onion rings, messed up order, or grumpy workers in sight. Like I said, they forgot how to fast food. Thanks for the great lunch!
