We had a large group and the owners and staff were very accommodating and pleasant. The food was good and the atmosphere was casual and friendly.
Excellent homemade food in a small town atmosphere! Great tacos, French fries and wonderful dessert. Worth the drive!

Good food and good people!
Grown up in Spearville, the Windmill Restaurant has always been a favorite. The chef makes sure the food is just right, fresh, homemade, and well prepared. I would recommend getting mexican enchiladas or beef fajitas! The waitresses are very respectful and show great service towards everyone. Very clean restaurant as well.

The Windmill Restaurant is the place to go when you want a good meal. The food is amazing and almost no wait time. The service is the best you will ever have, the waitresses are funny and great they make your day so much better. I always leave feeling happy and full. If you are looking for a good place to eat check out the Windmill Restaurant. You won't be disappointed! If I could recommend anything on the menu it would be the tacos, chimichangas, burgers, you know what, how about the whole menu because everything is awesome!

Terrible experience. When I mentioned that the hamburger meat tasted odd, the owner told me to come to the back, showed me the frozen meat in the fridge, and was rude. He said there was nothing he could do and refused to verify anything, claiming he was sure of what he sells. He also made an inappropriate comment about Hispanics criticizing more and tipping less.
The hamburger had a weird, unpleasant taste, while the chicken fried steak was okay. The French fries were dried and burnt, and the horchata and soda had no flavor. The waitress was rude and upset when we requested an itemized receipt.
We paid for the food but left most of it untouched. They got offended over feedback rather than addressing the concern. Definitely not worth it, and we will never return.
Terrible experience at this restaurant. The hamburger meat tasted old and spoiled, and when we mentioned it to the owner, he got defensive instead of addressing the concern. He even told us “que éramos delicadas” (that we were too delicate) and that’s why we didn’t like the food.
The French fries were burnt, the horchata and soda had no flavor, and when we asked about the soda tasting strange, the waitress was rude. She also became upset when we requested an itemized receipt.
The owner made an inappropriate comment about Hispanics criticizing more and tipping less, which was unprofessional and offensive.
The food was flavorless, overpriced, and the customer service was the worst. We left most of it on the table and wasted about $60. Definitely not recommended.
Can't wait to get back out for another meal. Everything there is homemade. Never have had a bad meal!

New to Dodge and we were looking for some “hole in the wall” places to eat. I’m a bit of a foodie so I’m always looking for something outside the normal. Found this place online and decided to check it out. It did not disappoint! I’m from Kansas City so I have dined at everything in between and this place really hit a home run. Only the owner (I think it was the owner) was working the kitchen with one server. There was only 2 other families in. The restaurant atmosphere reminded me so much of my childhood at our local diner with my grandma and it was nostalgic bliss.Onwards to the food. It was SO very good. I have heard their chicken fried steak is really good but I went with the fried beef tacos this time and they were delicious. The shells were baked tortillas and had the perfect crispness. Absolutely no complaints.. they were STUFFED with meat. My hubby had chicken fried chicken special and let me tell you.. after I grabbed a bite off his plate. Delicious! The green beans were the best I’ve had anywhere. They were seasoned to the nines and cooked like your grandmas with onions and a few bell peppers. My little one had grilled cheese and it was buttered to every corner and had lots of cheese. We’ve had our share of poor grilled cheeses and this one was GOOD and the homemade fries were great as well.It was a great experience and we will definitely be back to try something else very soon!Didn’t get many photos because we dug in quickly but I did grab a photo of those bomb beans!

My wife and I stumbled upon this fantastic restaurant on a road trip and were VERY pleased with our stop! The food was possibly the best Mexican we've had anywhere, including San Diego. The flavors were superb, the presentation was excellent, the service was on point, and the atmosphere was fine. I had the Quesadilla Salad, and my wife had the Chicken Chimichanga. Neither of us thought we would be able to finish our food, but once we started, we couldn't stop until it was gone. It was delicious to the last bite!We spent several minutes visiting with the owner and our waitress after we paid our bill. They were genuinely nice, friendly people, and they wanted to make sure their customers were fully satisfied with their experience. We HIGHLY recommend stopping in for a bite if you are nearby. The folks that live in the area are blessed to have such a great place in their community!
